    Hi Marty

Congrats on the new diary. Will wander in from time to time to have a nose around - keep up the good work.

    Nora.

Thanks, it's nice to know people are following me as it makes me feel supported and like it's all worthwhile. I will probably have the odd random question which I will be happy for you, and others, to answer.

Milk and sugar? You're not getting my huge Eeyore mug though so you'll have to put up with a normal one! Hehe.

    What you venturing out for?

Thanks for following me. Do you have a diary I can follow in return? You name looks familiar from Nora's thread. Be warned that some of my posts can be lengthy so I hope you know how to skim read!

Milk no shug thanks pet, and I was meeting a friend for lunch, she has set up her own yarn dyeing business and in order that a) I get to see people and b) she gets a breather we try and meet once a fortnight for a long lunch :D, problem is with my pain and the bad weather even though it is nice to meet up I suffer for it afterwards

One cuppa coming up. It's Scottish Blend so it might be a change from your usual Tetley/PG Tips/Twinings! (Delete as appropriate) Hehe.

How was lunch? Was it out or money saving at you friend's house?

You'd better put Knitting Nora in touch with your friend for supplies!

Can I ask what your pain is? I couldn't see anything in your latest diary but perhaps it's in your previous one which I haven't had the chance to wade through yet. Lol.

Hope you're not suffering too much this evening.

Scottish Blend is fine thank you!

Hmm may not have put anything in my previous diary but basically I was in a shunt road accident a few years back and I was left with a shattered right ankle and broken pelvis (as the main injuries) the shattered ankle has now gone postal and doesn't work at all and is in chronic pain, so I am stuck on crutches and on a good day the pain is a level of 15 out of a possible 10 :(

One cup of Scottish Blend with milk, no sugar coming up then. That's just how I take mine too!

Ouch, sorry to hear about your accident. I'm assuming that they can do little about your injuries apart from drug you up on painkillers? Does the cold and wet make things worse? I was in a shunt accident years ago but thankfully it only left me with shock and a wee bit of neck pain.

Hiya Marty & a big welcome to DiaryLand :D

Sorry to hear about the cat trouble, they can be very expensive; mine randomly & unexpectedly contracted fleas a while back ... over £100 later on various treatments ( the first 3 were ineffective) & I finally got rid of them, but it sure didn't help the budget much.

Glad to hear that you finally have the correct diagnosis & hopefully you'll find a bit more balance & stability in your world.

    I'll keep reading :)
    xx
