Sky prices

I was notified in September that my prices would be frozen for a year. I am on a half price package until December. I had assumed that my prices would be frozen at the discounted rate until next September. Sky have now told me that the discount will finish in December and I will have to pay the full price. Anyone else affected in this way? Should the actual price I pay be frozen for a year or did I misunderstand?

Thanks

They are correct your price was 50% until december and the remainder until september would be fully price which was the price you signed up at.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

If you joined Sky on or before 31st August, your current Sky subscription will stay the same for at least the next 12 months. Price freeze excludes any offers, call rates, administrative changes, VAT changes and if you change your package.

it is only the main price for sky that is freezing for the year, any offers that you have do not form part of the price freeze

It's all propaganda in my opinion. They always put their prices up in September so no-one is gaining anything, it's just spin.

    'I assumed' famous last words.

Also from 1st January, if you get paper billing they are starting to charge £1 per statement, time to change to paperless billing.
I got the letter informing me of this yesterday.

Change it with your Sky box or online
