Probably better with nylon as it won't compress so much.

thanks i never thought of using these!the hubby will go mad having to take the bed apart and put it back together but if it stops the squeaks it will def b worth it!thank uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu:T:T:T

ahhhh yes i found out what was making so much noise!
dd has a chest of drawers under hed bed which was right up against the metal bit connecting the legs. argh so simple!i moved it away and now we have near silence at night time wahooo!
