GE Money

  • Hi, thank you for your reply. I did not receive any paperwork or any documentation from Cardiff Pinnacle, the ppi providers.

I did not know, because of the above, that I had to cancel the ppi. I was not aware that the ppi continued to be paid after the loan was settled. The ppi was a part of the loan that we took with GE money, an upfront payment. We did not need the ppi as we were entitled to good sickness etc benefits in our employment.

All loans.co.uk done was to refer us to GE money to get the finance. GE money are insisting that its not them as they were not present at point of sale with regards to the ppi yet they financed it ??

The loan was not overpaid, but the ppi cover was definitely through cardiff pinnacle who are claiming that I have to speak to GE, who in turn are saying no, contact Cardiff pinnacle or loans.co.uk.

    Its just a mess:(:(:(:(

You're not alone on this, I am dealing with one of my OH old loans and all the original paperwork came from Igroup who then put me onto GEMoney, who referred me to Loans.co.uk who now have issued a final response telling me that the lender was First National Bank. I have just finished filling in a SAR request to Loans.co.uk as I think it's them I need to be chasing then I'm just going to take it to the FOS as I've been given the run around for months on this one.
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
  • Thanks for your reply, can I ask what a SAR is?

    Thanks
