Anywhere in UK? Or any rough ideas of where?
C
I'm happy to consider anywhere. I'm in Liverpool and have no car, so anywhere within say 4/5 hours max train/bus journey time.
Looking for somewhere nice and quiet, but not far from a village/city since I have no car I don't want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere.
Also somewhere with a few days out to be had.
This is the first holiday I'll be taking in about 12 years and never been around the UK before so honestly got no idea where about to go.Sigless0 -
Without a car Cromer Lighthouse may fit the bill - the town has a railway station, you can get to the beach via steps down the cliff and you can walk along the beach to the town centre.0

What about yorkshire ?
Whitby's nice - a small coastal town with beach and a train station.
This is a good company for cottages in that area

Or you could look at places along the picturesque Cambrian coast line in Mid/north wales (Porthmadog, Barmouth etc)

What from liverpool . Norfolk & sussex have to be the hardest places to get to from merseyside in the whole world. Siberia has to be easier. Being a football fan and supporting the best and only real team called the reds i have had the pleasure of traveling around most counties and often give the Norwich Ipswich games the elbow due to the problems getting there. If you fancy North Wales & The Stunning Lleyn Peninsular i have details.
I'm looking for details about anywhere described as stunning. Thank you for the info.
Can you tell me about the area? What's to do there?Sigless0 -

That looks incredible.
Sadly seems a little too far, but I refuse to count it out simply because it's stunning.Sigless0
