Due for an upgrade with Vodafone...

Hi all,

I'm currently 18 months into a 24 month contract with Vodafone. I have the HTC Desire (which I've been extremely unhappy with) and am wanting to get my hands on the iPhone 4s.

When I contact Vodafone to see about an upgrade, what 'deal' on the iPhone 4s should I expect? Is it a matter of threatening to see out the contract and go with someone else, I would get a better deal?

I'm not very savvy when it comes to this. Any hints/tips appreciated.

You can't expect any deal ... You've still got six months to go. Get to the end of the contract ... Then you can threaten to go.

You won't get a deal on an iPhone, either now, or when your contract runs out.

If you really want one, see if your old phones value second hand is greater than what Vodafone will charge you for the iPhone 4S. You are in your 'early upgrade' window, you can login to the Vodafone website to upgrade - once you get to the checkout page it will show you what the handset will cost you.

I am also wanting to upgrade from HTC Desire to IPhone4S I can upgrade now but the price plans can't be altered by vodafone.
If your on twitter speak to the people @VodafoneUKDeals they are fab I dealt with them when I changed provider last year and they are fab honestly can't praise them enough
