Shimmerbright - wot a mess up!!
Have waited patiently for my unlock code for my Easymobile phone since 14th November, following their 1st announcement. I had to buy a 2nd phone, so as to port my number & not loose it. Not too much of a prob - can always use a spare. The code came through yesterday (24th January) - not quite the 72 hours they promised!! Unfortunately for 'code' read 'codes'. Yes they sent conflicting info & since the 2nd mail came with complete instructions for unlocking, that was the one I used UNSUCCESFULLY. It wasn't until today that I've realised that a different code was originally supplied (without instructions) but now the phone is locked and according to Shimmerbright will need to be unlocked by an independent retailer (who can't), its a Nokia 1600 and Nokia say go back to the service provider (who in effect dont exist anymore) AAGGHHHH!!! :-(
Has anyone else any 'bright' ideas that dont 'shimmer'??
