Guilt over Tula bag

I'm only 20 and hankering after a Mulberry bag, so don't feel guilty about that! I have several Paul's Boutique bags that were £50-£80, and they've lasted over the years of abuse and are still going strong now. It's a special handbag for a special birthday for a special lady!
Should probably add, I have a big addiction with shoes and handbags, and will ALWAYS find a way to justify it!0 -
I agree with the majority, enjoy your bag!
I'm a Radley addict, I have about 12 now and use and rotate all regularly. All look as good as they day they were purchased and some are 5 years old. My Radley purses also rotate and all are like new. The cheap bags I've bought from New Look etc (and by cheap they were still £20!) are full of holes and torn stitching.
Roadiegirl, also have a few Paul's bags myself and I agree for the money they are very hardwearing aren't they?0 -
If I could get Marc Jacobs or any other lovely bags or shoes wonderful Christian Louboutins. I would have to buy reductions but..*drools*.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

I think MSE is about spending well and making decisions. I fear MSE may over rely on Vouchers which also reduce choice if it is the ONLY way you spend money. It would induce mind numbing guilt in people about spending non vouchered spending which I think is wrong.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

I think the older ones are, whereas one of my friends just bought one of the satchels, only carrying purse and phone in it on a night out and the stitching on the handles has all come away, after one use! And the lining doesn't seem to be as nice either. Not seen one for a while with a nice design on that I like, so the money's all in the Mulberry fund at the moment!0 -

Careful! Mulberry bags are horribly horribly addictive. Once you've got one you want more. And more. And more.........
On the plus side I've been using my Roxy almost daily for work for the last 5 or so years and it looks even better now than it did when I bought it so the cost per use is now pretty low.0 -
Do not feel guilty! They are quality and will last and last. I'll tell you a little story. Almost 10 years ago we relocated and I left behind a very dear, older lady friend. Her health wasn't great but she never complained. When we moved away I wanted to buy her a 'remember me' present to make her smile. I bought her a lovely Tula, soft, leather handbag which had a long strap so she could wear it over her head and across her body so she didn't drop it or lose it. It cost me £60 and she loved it - it had the right amount of pockets yet wasn't too large (heavy!) for her. Sadly she died four years ago - but her eldest daughter who's my age still has the bag and loves it because it meant a lot to her dear Mum. I'm so glad I bought her that bag and not something cheaper.0
