Some people are preferring the seagate and the drive inside it to the iomega and the currently unidentified drive inside that one.

but comeon, 100gb extra for a tenner, there cant be that much difference between the quality of the hdd's unless its some unbranded stuff.

According to a similar thread on HDUK the drive inside the Ebuyer one is a Seagate. One poster even took a picture of it to prove it. What makes you think it is a Maxtor? (The Ebuyer one has gone up £5 though)

And it's a decent spec (7200rpm, 16mb cache) from a reputable manufacturer (Seagate - http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/products/external/esata_hard_drive/). Lovely.
