    The WD drive is much better, they got a better build, Iomega use Maxtor HD inside which most people know are not the best. WD is better, online have 612 in stock so get buying!

    Distance selling regulations are your friend then, should be able to return within 'n' days as not suitable

    Not sure how long 'n' is

    Just tossing up whether to do same myself since maplin one just arrived here too

    Anyone know if either unit spin down after some period and go to sleep, or do they just keep whirring as older USB drives did ?
