Have had a nice day today with DD2..we went to town and I bought us both a new handbag and we had lunch at Nandos for a treat. Also picked up a few bits whilst there and then on to DD1s house for a couple of hours.
Tomorrow I need to do the shopping and drop subs cheque at the office and then must start sorting out downstairs ready for furniture delivery on weds.
Monday I have an appointment at the hospice to discuss what complimentary therapies I'm going to have.I think she said I'll get 6.
thursday I have a facial booked and friday I'll be having my hair washed/blow dried.
don't yet know what day I'll be going to WWs as I usually go weds morning but don't know until tues what time to expect delivery.

Had a clear out of my wardrobe earlier and have a big bag of stuff to take to the charity shop and will drop that off monday when I do the banking.
  • Hi taxi sorry I am late to the new diary :o

I have not been on much as life is full on and I have a bad cold so it is a case of dragging myself through what needs to be done :(

Love to hear about your make over I am sure you look lovely must find you on fb so I can look at the piccies.

I am a bit envious of your purchases desperately need a new suite myself and hankering after a leather one the old one is so bad my little girl has handed me all her money towards a new one and caught the pair of them looking at sofas in the tesco catalogue my little girl said to her brother we couldn't have the white one as someone would have to clean it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Glad to hear you and OH are going to York too :T:T

    Take care hun

Went for my appointment at the hospice today and will be having 6 complimentary therapies..reiki and reflexology so am looking forward to that.
On another positive note I popped in to the local learn direct centre to discuss computer courses and have an appointment for next tuesday.I'm hoping to do the ECDL courses but think I may need to do one of the more basic courses first.
I have decided that I'm not going to work on the cab anymore and have been thinking long and hard at which direction to go in next. After considering my options especially taking in to consideration my osteo arthritis I've come to the conclusion that something office based may be the way forward.I have never worked in an office before so this will be completely new to me hence the ECDL course.
I'm lucky that I don't have to go to work but think that doing some work will be good for my mind and pocket.I was offered a job to work as and when I want..it's in sales which gives me a buzz and am thinking about it but it's commission only..sales is my area though and there is money to be made as the person has a brilliant idea and I'm certain that it will take off.I am giving it serious thought.
Tomorrow I'll nip out and do the banking and the rest of the day will be spent sorting out and cleaning downstairs ready for the furniture coming on weds.I have quite a busy week this week
  • That is so great Taxi that you are planning for the future and that you have options to consider - go you :)

That does sound good! I did the ECDL course, a long time ago, and it was great - didn't use the knowledge soon enough, and it drifted away, but I bet I could get it back really soon, there's a familiarity to it now.

I'm sure you're right about the future being away from cabs, Taxi, in relation to arthritis. When I imagine doing the stuff that a taxi driver has to do, and coping with my *own* arthritis, well....

    **shudders**

And the sales thing sounds interesting too - of course, any job you have these days, computer skills are going to help.

The computer courses will definitely come in handy as everywhere uses them and I want to learn spreadsheets and other stuff anyway.

Furniture was delivered yesterday mninus the 2 chairs that they'd missed off the original order but they will be delivered on monday.

Today,I was to have a facial and my nails done at the salon at the gym but last night the owner text my DD to say she couldn't get hold of the nail technician cue mad panic and DD texting many nail technicians she knew to get me an appointment and she managed to get me one for 1pm in town...so I now have twinkle toes and glitter tips both with a lovely shade of purple and diamantes....unfortunately,my facial should've been at 2pm so had to cancel it as wouldn't get there in time but will be having the same facial at the place I had my nails done at tomorrow after having my hair blow dried in the morning...so all ok in the end.

Then out partying tomorrow with 200 other WWs..am quite looking forward to it now.

I will pamper myself tomorrow with a body scrub and nice long soak in bath milk followed by moisturiser all Champoneys range..get dressed put on my make-up and feel fabulous
