sorry to hear that you are going to have to go through it all again. Don't know what to say really. I had high hopes you had beaten it the first time.

Really hope you can knock it on the head this time

Morning everyone...sorry for not getting back to you earlier but had to digest the latest news.

Bit of a strange day yesterday.I received a call from my oncologists secretary just before going to the hospital saying that she wanted to cancel my oncolgist appointment for monday as she believed I was having an operation so wouldn't need that appointment...I explained that the appointment today was to see whether he could/would do the operation as due to him being away the week before he wasn't at the meeting..so she agreed to me phoning her once back from the hospital to let her know the outcome of meeting with surgeon.

Went to see surgeon and he's not willing to operate due to having to open up the same area for a 3rd time.He has said chemo and radiotherapy should sort it and they are discussing me in meeting friday morning and then they'll phone me...so it's a good job I have the oncologist appt for monday...so phoned the ons secretary and said I'll be keeping the appt.

I really don't know how I feel at the moment about all this as don't know whether it was there from beginning and didn't respond to the chemo or whether it is all new since chemo finished. On a plus side even though it maybe didn't respond to chemo there are many others that are stronger that it may respond to.
  • Just a big hug for you I can understand that you have lots of stuff going round and round in your head with so much uncertainty I am sure you will feel better mentally (even if not physically :( ) once you start treatment and you can start to focus

keep going you can do this

It sounds like the way forward is starting to appear, but it's not firmed up yet, it's a bit of an understatement to say it's natural to be unsettled with so much to take in and still some uncertainties. Definitely a time for looking after yourself.

Ooooh Taxi...I can't begin to understand how you must be feeling but I can imagine your heads in a constant whirl!
Once your treatment starts hopefully you'll feel like you're in some sort of control again.
    Big hugz Taxi.

    Hi Taxi,
Thank heavens you kept your wits about you with the secretary that phoned ... I'm not sure if you're glad of the outcome with the surgeon or not, but its what you've got to deal with, isn't it :(

So the meeting with your oncologist is tomorrow now, I'm writing on Sunday .... I really hope it goes well.
