Sorry I haven't been on here for the past week.It has been quite stressful with one thing and another(and expensive).

In myself I've been quite tired and am trying to conserve some energy to go away next monday.

The shower decided to break down on friday and after a lot of chasing about for plumbers/electricians we ended up with an electrician fitting a new one monday cost £180.
Yesterday the taxi went for it's valet/steam clean cost £130

Yesterday I had to go to town for job centre back to work interview...she's leaving me alone until at least November after I explained my recent medical issues(after all I'm going back to my own business once I'm fit enough)

Today, taxi went for pits test 8.40am and failed due to the drivers side window not operating(it happened sat evening but nothing we could do about it as everything else was booked valeting/pits etc)..£185.00....so then went to Vauxhall garage to get them to go through their records on the repairs and we'd had a window regulator fitted in August last year..they had a look and the rivets had come out, so he put new ones in and ordered a new regulator so will be free...then back to council to show the work was done and to get the magic piece of paper so we can work.

I need to do shopping but it can wait until tomorrow as I'm too tired and have no help today as DH is in bed having a sleep and DD2 is at work.I'm just going to chill out now.

KARMA..yes DD2 is the one you met..she's my right hand woman..LOL and was so good on sunday night that she hoovered the whole house and tidied up ready for the electrician coming..she's such a great help.

Right, best try and catch up with what you lot have been up to in my absence...hopefully a lot more intersting stuff than I have.

Sounds like an expensive time in the Taxi household.

You do right conserving your energies. I don't believe I had such good intentions today but have sat on my behind all day with the laptop on my knee.

Sending lots of positive thoughts for good health little bills :)

    Thanks everyone x

Not a lot to report here today.I've been to WWs this morning and have put 0.5lb on(that'll be the Indian I had last night..lol.) I don't think I'll be losing much over the next few weeks as have my holiday and then my op.
Then I did a bit of food shopping to tide us over the next few days.
I'm going to rest again today as didn't sleep too well last night.
