12/15 done ..was meant to see Dr but he wasn't there.Have been very tired today so nothing done again today but am sure I'll get my strength back as soon as I don't have to be driving to the hospital every day.
On the MSE front I moved our Isa savings in to the 123 account as they have just dropped to 0.5 % and there are no decent rates about at the minute.
Am wanting to get rid of the mortgage which is an offset at 0.99% but get more interest in normal accounts so will carry on trying to save in there and then pay it off when the figures match
  • Bloody well done Taxi.

    Big hugs xxxxxxxxx and

Hey taxi been following you silently both here and on the other place ... Really happy for you :) 3 more to go wooooo hooooo

Have you taken advantage of the n@tionwode current account at 5% ?

I'm thinking of the 123 account myself later on in the year if we have enough money lol

Deff keep up the savings an work at being mortgage neutral if you can get more in savings than you would in paying it off it makes much more sense IMHO

Absolutely - that drive must be taking it out of you, all on its own. Sorry the doctor wasn't there, hope you get to see him/her today.

Excellent! I'm preparing for my mum's visit this weekend, but after that, I'll get some of the investment money into a new ISA as well.

Its tricky, isn't it - its debt, but if you're being charged 0.99% for the mortgage, and earning 2.5% or something for your savings, then it works out *not* to pay it off. That dratted French mortgage is the same for me, 1.5% interest rate right now, less than inflation (and huge, huge charges if I paid it off!).

    Hope today goes well.

not done Nationwide but will look at it again when my head is fully with it.
The 123 is great as I make a lot on my DDs plus the 3% interest is good on my savings. When I get up to £20k I'll look for something else but a long way to go yet..lol

Luckily no redcmption penalties on my mortgage so if I had the money would pay it off tomorrow for peace of mind. It's so hard trying to save anything especially when not working for the last 3 years but have squirelled some away.
How lovely your Mum coming to visit.
It's so hard finding a decent Isa.Hopefully you'll find one.
I best get off here and go for zapping no 13 xx

Yay! Only 2 more to go. I don't know how you cope with working out the best rates etc and all the banking too when you're feeling so tired.
