12th April is really not so very long. I shall count the days for you, and look forward to hearing it is over and done with.

My sister found radiotherapy less stressful than chemo. I hope you find the same. x

Absolutely ... hope the planning was okay, by the way, and they took your preferences into account, like time of day for the appointment, and the other NHS services you're needing to use right now. 12th April .... it must feel miles away, but its really not :grouphug:

And right now, I'm off shopping to Lidl - do you have any round you that OH or one of your DDs could call on? Fruit trees for £4 .... they're only 70cm tall, and frankly I'm sort of hoping I'll be ready to move (after retiring) so I'll keep them in pots ... we'll see!

Thanks everyone...not worried about rads as they are easy compared with chemo..I may get tired and sore towards the end but will deal with it as it comes along.
I only have the time for the 1st rad and guess I'll get the list when I have that one done...the 1st one is 12 noon which is a nice time as it gives me time in a morning to get sorted and only have to travel about 20 miles each way so not bad.
I do have a Lidl and an Aldi both less than 5 mins away from my house so will have a look in there.

That sounds good. They've got ornamentals there too ... tho if I wanted something for how it looks *now*, I'd probably just go to a garden centre. And I've just seen on the weather forecast that the cold is coming back this weekend, grrr! Have a good day you! :)

Glad you have dates for rads Taxi and that you're sleeping better. Take care and good idea to spoil yourself with some planted up pots of nice spring flowers.

Had a lovely day today DD2 and I went out for lunch and she gave me a voucher for a facial and waxing,JJ brought me some flowers and a lovely card, his mummy bought me some Ghost perfume and Ferrerro Rocher,DS3 brought a big tub of ice cream around which in his mind is less fattening than chocolates ..bless him...the other 2 never bothered not even a phone call or message which annoyed me...didn't ruin my day anyway.
On the MSE front I've got 12 months free broadband saving £9.50 p/m and changed to a different tarriff for gas/electric as I'm due to go on the standard tarriff on the 1st April..it's not saving me anything and is slightly dearer than the one I've just been on but is still the cheapest one so staying with them for now.
The occupational health people are due wednesday morning to see about adaptations.
The house needs cleaning but DD2 is off so will help.
DLA form is still sat here waiting to be filled in as are the accounts that need doing..sigh..just can't get motivated

Glad you had a good day, Taxi - quite a few Mother's Day treats there :) and putting the other two that *didn't* contact you into a box that can't upset you is a good idea **hugs**.

I'm full of admiration for you changing broadband supplier - I work on getting a good deal, but I wouldn't dare change supplier, the connections seem to be terrible at first, it feels awful to me to do that!

And oh my word, the issue here right now ... blizzarding snow! Argh! Its very light, its not even sticking on the roads round here, but still ... its not nice out there! And its not even 24 hours since I potted up my new fruit trees!
