Oops ...no not today as DH took a rare day off.He offered to take me to the shops as we needed bread and stuff so as I was feeling ok I took him up on the offer. He drove I did the banking,we went to Lidl and then home bargains..was really tired and achy after that lot so had a nice bowl of home made lentil soup that DH cooked followed by a sleep ..hence awake now but going back to sleep in a minute x0 -
Hi Taxi,
Today sounds like it wasn't as horrid as last time, so I'm really glad for you. And perhaps the effects of those antihistamines was no bad thing!
And guess what? I'm moving into my own flat tomorrow! Can't wait, but a bit  about how much stuff I have to move. Once it's all sorted out, I'll invite you over for virtual tea and cake.
Great news about moving and can't wait for the party..good luck on moving x0 -
Sorry about quoting everyone of you individually but the chemo makes my brain a little foggy and if I don't quote you I forget what I've just read xx
Will rest quite a lot now over the week as I have my main jobs out of the way.
The appointments aren't too bad next week..it's when they are running behind schedule that it makes them very tiring.
Monday ...Oncolgist 4.15pm so he'll probably be behind.
Tues....Bloods taken can go anytime between 8.30am and 4pm...apparently 8,30am is quietest and usually no queues.I have to have them done on chemo ward from now on as I have the Picc line whereas it was the path lab before
Weds...Chemo 1.30pm..hopefully no delay as they don't normally take anyone at that time so everyone else will already be hooked up and I'll be the only one waiting to go on..it's a long session as pre meds then Taxol, flushes then Avastin
Managed to buy birthday present for grandaughters 3rd birthday today so that's off my mind now..I even remembered wrapping paper and card.Got her a table and chair,Peppa Pig 3 wheeled scooter and Dora the explorer dinner set.
It's DD2s birthday November too but she loves money so that ones easy.
I haven't a clue what to get the 3 grandkids for christmas yet so need to get my thinking cap on.0 -
Taxi, I'd forget that number of posts, I guarantee you
I know what you mean about the appointments later in the day running late, and then being very tiring because you're hanging about ... hope the oncologist isn't too badly behind. And that there's lots of nice rest involved the rest of the time2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

He'll be behind no doubt about that but my appointment shouldn't be long as I don't have a lot to ask him...will probably rest most of the day anyway
Hope you have a good weekend x0 -

Can't believe it either..the baby is 15 months ....
Don't know what I'm doing this weekend..probably nothing if it carries on with this weather..lol
have a good one yourself and say hi to the family for me x0 -
Haven't been up to much today just the washing which is rather painful with this Picc line in my arm.
Am also still battling with Zooplus over a dog bed that I bought in August that has split at the seams.I must say at the moment I think their customer service stinks!!!
I've spoken on the phone to them and was told I needed to e mail them with photos..which I did ..the cheeky gits then offered me a £15 discount..no refund or exchange....I refused this and they haven't got back to me...how bad is that?0 -
Hope you've had better news from Zooplus by now - that sounds really dreadful!
How you doing? This is a longish break for you, though of course you need to conserve your strength, and its a difficult time of year for doing thatHugs to you xxx
