Greying
The shops were horrific yesterday and I came home. Which is silly as I do need to get some things so will have to gird my loins and try today.
Glad you're having a great time and having time to reflect :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Sounds like you are having a lovely time Tilly
The downsizing thing is something that is on our agenda, but not just yet. We're in a 4 bedroom house, and have lived here for 25 years.
But it's not a huge 4 bedroom house. It gives us room so we can have our own space if we feel like it, but not so big that we feel we're 'rattling' around.
We're really comfortable here, and intend staying for a while yet. But, at some point, we'll downsize. There's no time frame, but we feel we'll know when the time is right.
On the subject of shopping. At Bluewater on Wednesday, I felt we'd had a spree by buying two items, and getting another two items with points or vouchers. But it was astonishing to see the people with huge bags of STUFF - just seems over the top to me these daysEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Hi Tilly
Haven't been on in ages, hope you are keeping well, Tilly I remembered that you make home made lemon curd. I was thinking of making some to give to family and friends for Christmas, how long does it keep for? and would you have a nice recipe?

Thanks for stopping by
I always use Delia Smith's lemon curd recipe and as all her recipes are on line now, just g@@gle and it comes up as the first link
Good luck - I promise it's foolproof (even I can make it)
