Morning ATT, firstly glad you are feeling better. If you have a busy couple of weeks coming up you need to be in a good place to start with. Do you ever use echinacea? I only use it occasionally when needing to ward off colds etc - worth a mention in case it helps.
I know exactly what you mean about old churches, they have a serenity and peace which is beautiful. I love to sit and imagine the people who have walked through the doors over the years, and the trials and tribulations they would have been facing, along with the weddings and christenings etc. You would nearly always catch me visiting a church whilst on vacation for that very reason.
eBay finishes on Sunday night and so far there's a number of watchers but nothing has a bid. Fingers crossed again.
The weather forecast seems to be on the turn again and Saturday looks like its going to be blinking cold, yet Sunday may be glorious - seems a bit confused to me.
Anyway, enjoy the last day of the week and hope the next few weeks aren't too bad.

Friday night already and sad to say I haven't had time to walk or run with the dog. We are just watching a little TV with the kids and then will take her out for a quick walk. We are volunteering as a family tomorrow. DD and I just for the morning, DH and DS will be helping out all day. I think by tomorrow night we could all be pretty worn out.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Hi Tilly, I'd miss the company too much if I worked from home too often
I also really need to be around the people at work to do my job properly (how else can I know what they are up to and poke my nose into what goes on
). I enjoy it tho - but I would like to get more washing done!

Back from volunteering and all bushed. Just chucked stuff into the slow cooker for chicken curry on high and all going to have a kip. Fab day though and we were fortunate with the weather.
Had some great bargains from Asda yesterday and some beautiful fish so that's prepped and frozen ready for a quick fish pie.
Menu plan is working well, apart from today, but too bushed to care. SC will mean we don't need a takeaway and can eat a bit later.
Hope everyone's day is going well.

Morning, we all seem to have woken up with aches and pains. More exercise than shred it and a jog whilst volunteering so should have done us all good.
I have to crack on with the ironing now and then going to make some cakes for the kids lunch boxes.
As the day is glorious, we will be making some inroads in the garden, in terms of prepping for planting, plus my tom and chilli seeds will go into pots inside today. I LOVE this time of year when the planting gets kicked off.
Have a great day everyone and ATT, fingers crossed the next couple of weeks go well and you can schedule some 'relaxing' time afte that.

Hey Tilly
Just been catching up on your diary - all very inspiring and laughed about your coupon experience (and spreadsheet!! :rotfl: ) i have had similar looks at checkout , but never got as far as spreadsheets (excel is not my forte!) Glad you managed such a great saving!
Yay for glorious weather! The skies are blue and the sun is out here I LOVE spring and it is such a relief when the cold dark weather is over! No gardening here but I cant wait till we have a garden so I can get growing!1 -
Hi TYO, it does the soul good doesn't it when we see the blue sky. On the gardening/growing front, how about growing some basil on a windowsill indoors - it is quite easy to grow and means you can grab some quickly - I have just finished planting some now. I start them off with a plastic bag over them to give some extra heat.
Enjoy the sun :T

Yay, all items sold this evening on eBay. I have a feeling I may have a problem with one, as they paid for the item and not the postage - fingers crossed
Garden is looking lovely after a fair bit of work and ready for improved weather and planting.
I hope everyone has a good week ahead - best wishes Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Well done on all that - I've had a reasonable ebay day also but cba in the garden. Wish I had now as my next 3 weekends are busy. Then it will be nearly Easter & time to go to Spain :jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
