Well Froggy, maybe there's just too many people with time on their hands
Great news on jobs front Tilly, everything crossed here :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

What a day. Apples picked, 'bushes trimmed' (that's for Natty), weeding finished, pots emptied and contents in the compost bins, blackberries picked. DS picked some sloes, so will need to clean and freeze.
A few bargainous items purchased for the freezer, good use of DD discount card and a trip to L!dl means the freezer is stocked for the autumn. My larder (garage) is topped up too.
Nothing gives me more pleasure that being in the kitchen preparing food - definitely is a way to relax.
I'm happy the kids are learning about growing veg and fruit, larders etc (I have a few spices and herbs - and yes they all get used and turned over :rotfl:). Now if I can just persuade Mr T to have chickens I'd be made. (May need lessons from MWC).
Thanks to everyone for reading - Mr T gave me a card for reaching 250000 views :T. It's been a pleasure writing although not always eloquent, written from the heart, and there have been some tears over the last 22 months but definitely more laughter.
I'm off to start the Thai chicken curry for dinner. Quiet night this evening and friends coming over for late lunch tomorrow.
