    Hi Tilly, ladies, gents ;)

Tilly, can I pose a question/dilemma here please as you get more visitors and I'm interested in views. So, assuming you say yes....;)

I have an electrical item/gizmo. I bought it nearly 10 years ago and it's been used 6 - yes, that does say SIX - times probably in the first year I got it

The thing is, I paid £1100 for it, yes, awful I know but that's the sort of thing I used to do when confronted with gadgetry:o

Its a biometric PDA, matching foldable flat keyboard :smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:happylove:happylove:happyhear and T0MT0M gps system

There are a few for sale on ebay (never any bids) and they are not worth much now e.g. even the BIN for just the PDA bit don't get any bids

The thing is, between all their boxes (all perfect and contents inside like the day they were made!) they are taking up a full black bin liner of space in my home and is clutter!

I'm never going to use it again and I want rid of the whole lot, I don't think bay of E is a goer and the postage cost for all those boxes would be tremendous and I'm not keen on collection only even assuming it would get a bid. I also can't bring myself to throw it out into the rubbish

Any suggestions please??? Is it as simple as giving to a charity shop which I am happy to do

    Regards

On a recent outbound flight as well as inbound flight , I spent a few hours watching Mary Poppins and Sound of Music - so may be a Julie Andrews fan too.

    Jumping back to the music....

The Specials, Ghost Town - in my top 3 songs ever since I first heard it. Still makes me momentarily pause if I hear it

Other stuff I like: Echo & Bunnymen, James, Duffy, Japan, Sylvian, Crowded House, Cranberries, REM, Julian Cope, Lloyd Cole, The Smiths, Depeche Mode.

Current fave song is Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke - I'd happily have him in my bed..... yum! :D:D

  • Morning Greent, you are personally responsible for Mr T giving a rendition of Ghost Town in bed last night :rotfl::rotfl:

    Thank you :)

All this talk of music, I feel like a playlist needs to be created :)

    Gulp crying-and-sobbing.gif

Bit obscure this one - An Affair To Remember, Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr, when he realises what's happened:
"Oh, it's nobody's fault but my own! I was looking up... it was the nearest thing to heaven! You were there... " (obv I cheated and had to look it up )

Filling up as I write this big-tears.gif.

    OK, back to the music......

    Perfect Day
Ocean Colour Scene at the start of summer
    Billy Joel
Mack the Knife (not when driving though - makes me want to speed :o)

And from Mr GG - Delaney Had a Donkey :o. Love it when he serenades me :rotfl:.

PS - anyone paid anything off their mortgage recently? Just asking :D.
