Morning. Lovely walk with the hounds - I never fail to enjoy the sight of two large dogs running with their ears flipping/flapping and happy feet. When they're really enjoying themselves they seem to flip their feet up as they run - love it.

Not sure I feel particularly organised at the moment - working full time in a field which is busy always meant I had to be disciplined at home, otherwise we'd never cope. I love the fact I rarely travel these days :T. More hand clapping - I must just be in a flappy mood today.

Tatty, your freezers are organised now and you'll be reaping the benefits in terms of less money spent on food :T

SweetDaisy, when you go for your interview and wow them with your knowledge, skills and attitude you'll love working nearer to home. I can imagine how you feel so will be crossing everything for you.

MWC, Mr T does make sourdough occasionally but tends to be more an autumn winter thing, as we don't go away as much so no problem with feeding the starter. If he doesn't get a job he could be doing it all year round :rotfl: Let's hope that's not the case. I'll ask him for the recipe he uses - I have a feeling it could be a HfW one.

Thanks NewGirly - off to do battle with L!dl now - they have loo rolls n offer so I could be stocking up :rotfl:

    Best wishes

Relaxing night - lovely meal, glass of wine and an early night :)

I've chatted with Mr T in the garden, played with the dogs, put my feet up and had a good old chill.

TYO, thought I'd better take some notice of GG otherwise she'll appear on the doorstep to tell me off :rotfl:

    Night all, Tilly x
Did you not spot me peaking over the fence making sure you were behaving
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Morning ATT, I would say I'm about 80% - still feeling tired come the evening but managing work wise which is better for my head :)

Two packs of 9 loo rolls may have jumped into my basket :T

Fruit, creme fraiche for a smoked salmon quiche in the week - I meant to buy bacon but forgot so will need to hunt down sausages in the freezer, as we intend having a leisurely but long dog walk early tomorrow morning, then brunch when we return home. A few peppers for lunch today, spring onions and that was it.

We definitely won't have emptied the freezer before we go away which is frustrating as I wanted to defrost and clean it. That'll have to wait until September now.

The fridge on the other hand is looking beautifully clean and is now hibernating until our return.

Most of the things for lunch are prepared, cooking or cooked :T

I'm off to have a bath and relax - may do the ironing first as it's annoyingly on my mind.

Enjoy the afternoon - I'm just going to check on Natty

Aww, thanks Tilly. I just need to spend quite a bit of time preparing for it so that I can feel more confident at the interview.

I think Mr T may be baking bread tomorrow - I fancy a cheese and bacon boule, so may need to put an order in
    :T

I've made the Paul Hollywood version of these and they are amazing, my mouths watering just thinking about them!

If you'd like I can come and do a taste test to make sure Mr T is doing them properly ;)
