:j well done on the ebay sales-we had a good run this weekend too-there was alot of parcelling up to do today!!! Pity it has barely made a dent in the masses of stuff we need to get rid of!! :(
On a happier note-the money from the sales is coming in very handy :)

  • Hiya, the Tilly family are feeling very loved from your comments, thanks so much.

Mr T and I are wrapping parcels tonight - really pleased with sales thus far. I have a theme for the next FLW and will stick with only listing at a price I'm happy to sell for, it worked well, even though I was nervous.

    Best wishes Tilly x

    Hi, quick update

Council Tax - called council today and arranged to pay over 12 months. In addition I have set up a standing order, to OP the extra which used to go out each month anyway.

So it means overall we will OP a further £360 a year. Here's hoping we don't notice the difference.

Still paying by credit card to get cash back.

    That's all for now.

i went into our local council offices last week and asked if i could pay it over the 12 months instead of 10, i think i must've developed a second head as the looks i received were truly fascinating, it turns out that our council do not offer that facility, back to the drawing board there then :rotfl:

well done on the ebay sales just now you really seem to be doing well with it all, have to admit i have only managed to sell that one thing, obviously no body wants my rubbish:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Maybe Scotland are handling council tax differently. I'm sure I read that all councils have to offer it, but perhaps that's just England. I know when I called them the person said they are only making the change when people phone up about it.

On the eb@y front, you're selling your treasures on Am@zon as well though and I haven't a clue how to go about that yet :o. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can sell all the stuff from the loft that is now messing up my previously tidy garage

It's like musical chairs in this house at the moment
