On the 'motors' hame page there are 5 different banners displayed at random ( refresh the screen to see them all ). Of these 5, 3 show the cars on the wrong side of the road. Wife e-mailed pigsback and cheekily asked for 100 points for spotting a mistake on the site. Got this back from Lyn:-

Thank you very much for pointing this out to us. I am afraid it is at
Pigsback.com's discretion whether to credit PiggyPoints when members
highlight errors or mistakes on our website, and we do in some cases, but
for this particular mistake I do not feel it is necessary to credit
PiggyPoints as it is only a graphic error. This error does not affect the
offer in a bad way, it is a picture of a road and the side of a car,
which simply portrays the idea of a Motor Zone.

    Mardy or what.
Oh um. It seems if you don't ask you don't get and if you do ask you don't get. A bit like my sex life

    P.S. she voted for Andy

I've pointed out loads of mistakes and they never credit any points, including a figleave one...it says 20 points per £1 (double#) then when you go in it changes to 10... needless to say they are only willing to give 10 for the purchase...how rooooooood.

Over xmas pigsback had the deal via email:

And, as it's (nearly!) Christmas, if you buy five presents or more from Shop & Earn between now and Christmas, you'll earn a bonus 500 PiggyPoints!

I went along to pigsback, did the offers on pigsback purely for these additional points, should of been recieved yesterday about this and recieved this as a response:

This promotion was changed the same day it was put on site because we couldn't track the promotion as we would have wished.
It was changed to "This year, full of Christmas cheer, members who spend £100 or more in our Shop and Earn section from 13th Nov - 22nd Dec will earn a bonus 500
    PiggyPoints".

So i miss out on a fiver because they didn't test out their tracking before emailing everyone! Should i persist and email back or should i just not bother with taking into account bonus points in the future when choosing where to go for cashback?

I asked for clarification of the Christmas offer on the 12/12/06 and received this reply on the 14/12/06 from Ciara.

"Regarding the Christmas offer, the T&C's have changed. Therefore if you have purchased 5 items during the period that the terms stated you must purchase 5 items then you will receive your 500 PiggyPoints. These terms were on the site from the 22nd until the 1st December.

However if you have not purchased the 5 items between those dates you will need to spend £100 to receive your 500 PiggyPoints."

    I hope this helps you.
