try asking the company to send you an email confirming your registration, that way you can forward it to piggy as proof of your registration...

to be honest i'm more worried they don't know what they're doing with my personal details and don't record who they give them out to, than about the points now.
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
  • I found this with !!!!!!, when I queried it they told me I joined back in October (2 months before I joined pigsback) which is odd as I am not in the habit of joining websites unless I get something for it!
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

I have a couple of hotmail accounts that are purely used for signing up to freebie sites etc....so all the spam mail just goes in there and emptied once a week.

Also when signing up to anything, dont give your real home address or phone number, unless its for a freebie thats going to get posted to you of course...

Has the Audible offer changed? It's now only 200 points for signing up to the 14 day free trial - wasn't it originally 500 points?
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/
  • Hi there, Im sill waiting for mine too xx

    When did you join?

My 28 days are up 7/2/7. Just wanted to check,as I had to chase for my 150 points for Lightspeed.

Hopefully, I won't have the same problem getting these points!!

I noticed it today too-it was 500 points when I joined on the 2nd of January, hope they honour it,Iam cursing myself for not having got a snapshot of it when the offer was for 500 points-do any of you lovely people on here have snapshots?Hopefully they will credit the 500 points and Iam getting paranoid for nothing.

I recently registered with a company via pigsback, and as result have received a lot of junk post & e-mail. However when I queried pigsback that I hadn't had points for the registration, they're demanding I prove that I registered and refuse to query it with the company.

I didn't keep the registration e-mail so can't proove it, but the company obviously have my details as they've sent me mail, and i haven't registered through any other sites, so a quick check with them should do it.

As well as being annoyed at pigsback for demanding I proove registration and refusing to check it out themselves, i'm worried they don't know what they're doing with my personal details and don't record who they give them out to.

Is it common for them to 'loose' your registration for companies, and refuse to check it out unless you can prove you applied?
It's seriously making me want to close my account and stop using them if this is normal.

I can't really help with the question of where your details are going but if you use addressguard, kinda like a fake address, it sends e-mail to your primary account and you can prove that you have only used that e-mail through PB.
