I will pull units out tomorrow and find out what is happening with pipe then cause at the moment it goes from main stop tap, into sink, behind cooker and units, then comes out of other end and into radiator then upstairs!
As my earlier post it might look like it does but ten gets you five it doesn't.

    Cheers

He'll answer after he stops laughing and texting his mates. I nearly split my sides.

After reading and laughing at this, I think I know what the problem is. Many people (My OH is the same) buy appliances without really knowing how they work or what they have to do to instal them. Some buy them to show off to their friends.
My OH wanted one of these monstrosities as I call them, but quickly changed her mind when I told her what would be involved - a pipe running around the kitchen (our newly decorated kitchen) for about three metres, which would then be plumbed in to the cold water feed to the kitchen tap.
We also had the five minute discussion about the nearby radiator pies, but I was fortunate enough to win that little battle without too much of a fight.
The result is that we are keeping our standard Bosch fridge freezer which works perfectly fine, and is tucked away in the coolest part of the system.
I have watched the "Grand designs" programmes, and it always amazes me, when someone (usually a woman - sorry but it is true), decides to "Project manage", despite the fact that they have no common sense and no experience of any building trade, yet will try to tell the experts what they can and cannot do.

Well thanks, it is actually the pipe that runs from my kitchen sink and my water that comes out my tap is clean!!!!

It comes down from out house, into sink then into first radiator, so what why would the water be dirty?

    Hi,

    No offence intended.

    Does your radiator get hot?

If so then, logically, it cannot be the same pipe as the cold to your sink.

You have misunderestimated the plumbing, as G W Bush might say.

    GSR.

    PS.

I was once asked " can the boiler be fitted sideways" (wall mounted combi)

I assume that is because they wanted to vent it out along with the kitchen extractor fan?
