Arggghhh! Just need to vent!! Checked my bank account today and Littlewoods have just taken £25.00 out with no warning. I have a payment to make by D.D on the 21st which I have budgeted for but they've just taken this without prior warning. It's not showing up as paid on my direct debits either. But it def is payment to shop direct group with my acc. no. at the side. Been on the phone nearly half an hour (0844 number) so goodness knows how much that is going to cost. No joy because man can't get through to payment dept but he says they can't ring me back I have to ring them again. I can't find an alternative number that's free. Any ideas anyone??? If this isn't sorted it will probably put me over overdraft and accrue charges. Although if they don't sort it I will cancel DD payment for 21st if possible. Let them dare try and charge me!! Grrrrr!!! Sorry for rant but literally £15 left to last a week and may have to put petrol in for work so I really could do without this.

In my case NO not useing it again , just relieved they did not see the DTD on the foxes written on it .

Ah I see they couldn't really say anything if it was written on as DTD is just a sorry for charging wrong price but it does make it all more awkward

Hi there everyone! I got DTD on the foxs biscuits yesterday but cs took my reciept then only gave me back a photo copy of the refund and refused to give me the the other one back so no JTD for me! Oh well least I have free biccies:)

I've only had small JTD but never been asked for my receipt, I know it says you should show the receipt, in fact none of the cashiers knew what they were, I told them you just scan them, they called the supervisor who just says put it through & doesn't mention the receipt either, its worth a go.

  • Hiya - been attempting to catch up! Not been to T's for a week so getting itchy feet. Glad to see everyone playing nicely again - up to p.211ish anyhow! Will finish catching up now but had to add my bit to this.
Morning all, visited Bro/bor/ugh in the Wirral yesterday and scanned loads of things but only managed to get 2 ITNG aquadoodles, told a couple of mums with young girls and they cleared the shelf of the 10 I left. One pair of GOG underpants and had them taken off me as "all 4p items can't be sold as they have to go back as they all have faults on them!"That's a new one to me. Empty shelf above the leaf tray SEL. Got excited when I saw 6 white portable DVDs, all wrong code:(
Everything else sanned at full price, even things with 'correct' bar code. Still searching for a bed guard rail.

The best excuse I've heard for them taking something off me was when the duty manager of my local took my strike-it magazine off me and said it couldn't be sold due to "illegal and possibly damaging content...." he was only having a hissy because he was having to DTD refund £140 for OOD SEL bt phones  worse still he was the one who had recommended them to me when I'd innocently asked for a cheap but quality quad phone set.........:rotfl:

    Think I've found an ExpressGlitch!:j
    Mum bought:
    Nestle 12x500ml water-£2.38
    Gu puds-£1.46
    Lindor eggs 100g-£2.08
    Lindor eggs 100g-£2.08
    Passata -38p
    Passata -38p

    Sub total-£8.60

    multibuy savings
    snow bites 200g 2 for £2 -2.16
    Lindt Lindor 100g 2 for £3 -1.16

    total savings-£3.32

    Total to pay £5.28

Now not exactly sure where the glitch is but mum said the SEL said 2 for £2 on the eggs. The CS gave her back £1. But rushed off to take away the rest. Not sure if this is incorrect SEL glitch or that 2 savings(Lindor and snow bites) are being taken off for the eggs, making them roughly 50p each.
Can anyone work it out/try it out in their local Express. SA taken all the eggs away so can't go myself and check it out and back home from work so can't go back to the Express near work.

Also in another Express, saw a SEL of Cadbury's Whole nut, large bar, with 'discontinued ' really tiny on the corner of the SEL. Didn't try it out as bought 3 of the Selection boxes and cannot buy any more chocolate!:o

so you didnt buy any snow bites?? looks like there 2 discounts coming off for the lindor eggs then maybe...
