Morning Everyone ,can you tell me where the torches can be found , do they have a display of thier own as I looked at the tool section and the battery section . Nothing there .

These are normally somewhere near the lightbulbs or tools and also big cardboard displays scattered around the store. I have seen the cardboard displays in front of the electricals desk and in the large promotional toy aisle
    .

    *hic* no comment.:o:o

It's getting cold again so the weather is playing havoc with my Hip, knee and ankles so sometimes a drink is the only way to get to sleep.
  • And on that note, night all. See you just after lunchtime. :)

Don't suppose you have a spare princess one?

Doing my good deed today and gifting some (2x ITNG) to Brand8, there is a little extra surprise in there too hun ;)

I think they were by you? Very pretty thick looking ones?

So glad you managed to get it sorted, my dr was useless this morning. I told him what the dentist had said about the Bruxism, which my dr then told me doesnt exist as it wasnt in his medical dictionary....he gave a me leaflet which I have had before as previously seen a lady regarding my sleep. He told me to get proof off my dentist so he knows what I am talking about. He also said at my age 5-6 hours is sufficient  I said to him even if I sleep that I dont feel like I do, and I am waking my partner up and myself too and it is getting to the point I can not function and he said well all your blood tests have come back ok. Yes because a sleep disorder doesnt get picked up in the bloods grrrr.

How did you manage to get referred fudge?

I went to my Doctor and told him how it was effecting me and how being so tired was taking over my whole life. He was really good and did some research and apparently being an adult female makes me in the minority as most people grow out of sleep problems like night terrors when they reach puberty and young adults tend to be male.
Anyway he found out the only place to refer me to was the sleep clinic at St Thomas hospital and he did just that.
I had an appt oct last year and was then booked into the sleep clinic for tests in January and I got my final diagnosis in April this year and started on Modafinil and Zopiclone.
The zopiclone didn't agree with me so they gave me something else, can't remember what, but all meds to help you sleep have addictive tendancies and you can't take them very often, so I stopped bothering with these and just stuck to the Modafinil to keep me awake.
This was working fine, but my employers were a little less than understanding and I started to suffer a lot with anxiety and stress which made them less effective.
I had a review last month and now my sleep specialist has decided that the modafinil are exarcabating my anxiety and has reduced the dose and given me new tablets (sorry forget the name) which are also meant to act as anti-depressants.
Been a bit of a roller coaster and still have to d/w work yet, but hopefully everything will start to settle down soon.

The sleep clinic advised me the most important thing was routine (i'm terrible at this :o), getting up and going to bed at the same time and getting 7-8 hours sleep.
Also to avoid caffeine after midday, not to smoke before bed and no noise in room etc.
All the usual common sense things really.
He also told me not to go to bed hungry, I think this is such a great rule as now I can munch when I want to :D, although I normally grab some chocolate which I know I shouldn't cause of the caffeine in it :o

If your doctor isn't very helpful, do you have another doctor at your surgery you could see?

Sorry for such a long post . I hope you manage to get everything sorted :(

Really strange - just had a phone call from Mr T's head office - re the email i sent.

They rang me - but i didn't give them any contact details in my email apart from obviously my email address :eek::eek: ???????????

really pleased with the outcome though and the man i spoke to couldn't have been nicer.

Just a little spooky how he got my phone number :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Have you ever placed an online order or order with tescos direct and given them your number as a contact?
Just wondered as this how they have mine, because the address, clubcard etc are all linked on their systems.
