Not wanting to rain on your parade but the item you bought is a good price. If you really wanted it( but not available in Tesco) it is available on amazon at £4.58 delivered if anyone else wants it thinking it is worth £12.97.

Despite my sage words I'm often a sucker for a "bargain":rotfl:

Personally I was expecting it to be £1.30 odd as was originally posted on here as same barcode (Thank You original OP ♥) so I never bothered to self scan - just took it straight to a manned till with a 4p bag of 3 garlics. You win some you lose some. Either way I did want one to go with the digital photo frame, then the recipent as no excuse not to use it

They are BOGOF but when I add 2 to my trolley online it takes the discount off twice so show up as £0. Have ordered some with my online shop I'm collecting later (thanks Karlie) so will update then!

Hi all :wave: Had a really busy few weeks and only had time to lurk occasionaly, glad to see everything is back on track with the chat.

Been looking after OHs bosses puppy while he was on holiday. Long story short, within 10minutes of being in the house, pup jumped up to get a toy, landed awkwardly and started screaming. Called OHs boss to come back and we took him straight to the vet.... xrays showed a really nasty fractured leg and had to have a pin and plate put in. Trying to keep a 5 month old pup calm was so tiring. Thankfully he is recovering very well and is back home with his owners now (although I am missing him terribly).

Anyway...I did manage a couple of quick visits to T's and got some of the 4p items - boys bug raincoat, 3 pairs of playboy boxers, 2 pairs of slippers, 2 pairs of tights, 3 pairs of family guy socks, a couple of 1p leaf trays and 2 chuggingtons.
OH got 6 of the Lynx gift sets for £3 each and went to CS with 3 for 2 ad in Tesco mag and got DTD so worked out at £1 each :j

Hi eveyone! I had to have a night off last night as DH was complaining I'm always looking at the laptop and ignoring him! Ha!

So, just catching up - hoping any super-glitches can wait until after work & the school run

Just had my post, early for a change!
Letter from mr t with £6 gift card from tolietry gift sets, half price but not 342 saga.

Sorry to learn that your multisaver purchase did mot register at the checkout...unfortunately, at thebpoint of your visit our tills were inadevertently not set up in time to accept this multi saver in particular. As a result you were charged full price.

This has been rectified and the till system now updated.

No trouble at all! Im £6 up as had a refund due to store not honoring price!

Now. I have it in black and white but as of yesterday, apart from the ood sels that i grabbed dtd on, i assume all stores have removed all half price sels and are back to normal price. No where in e two store i visited did it mention 3 for 2 offer, apart from in magazines which are a plenty.

Have checked on line and gift sets are showing 342 as of 16th so maybe stores have new pos. Dont know cause im up to neck in paint!

Option for dtd me thinks?

well had a little trip out this morning and went to 2 stores where I know they had the AW09 portable DVD players a few weeks ago....absolutely nothing today...asked them to check out back...got excited when one chap bought me a pink one out..only to see its the 'NEW' normal DVD player - scans at £19.97 nevermind

all the SELs for Foxes are £10 and no sign of any of the other bits and bobs on my list! Found the correct Lynx (same bc etc)..scanned at £3.xx :eek:

got another scarf for my neighbour...and got a black handbag and scarf a couple of days ago too...all 4p, as well as 3 more trays..so the odd sneaky thing is still out there...although one of the scarves I got last week now has a AW11 tag on it in store!!!

Also scanned all the kids dressing up outfits...all SS11 ...all scanned correct price...dont think these will ever change!!

Have decided on new tactics though for next time...instead of looking for the things already reported (as these all seem to be gone by the time I get there!)...I'm going to scan other stuff not previously mentioned instead- in the hope I can find something for 1p/4p/cheap!!!

On that note, in my local they had the 9 packs of normal Andrex oon offer with white SEL of £3.....not as good as the Halloween deal,nor the previous £2.25 offer....but still quite a good price...plus you get the puppy points for anyone who collects them!

Thank you just called my husband he is fairly close to a tesco he will also try and if it dont work he will have forgot his card, will let you know!
