Good afternoon. Had a little jaunt to Tesco today (for a change...;))

Foxes biscuits had sel of £10. :(

Clothing department looked remarkably tidy, but I still found 4 1p scarves (only took 1 cos I already had the others). My mum is already choosing which ones to give to her friends as part of their Christmas pressie.:D

Found a few single pairs of ladies socks at 50-75p each, but didn't bother with them as I already had a pack of 3 for 4p the other day.

Cleared the shelf of the Strike-It magazines (5 copies). Issue 3 is still going through at 1p in my Extra store. Got enough now to give to my DS's footie team.:footie::j

Picked up one pack of Halloween Andrex toilet roll. SEL £1 and scanned at £1. Dunno if it was supposed to scan at that or not, but just thought I'd buy a pack to put away for next Halloween. How organised eh? And not like me at all!
Will be interesting to hear my children's screams next year when they wake up for a midnight wee. :rotfl:

It seems remarkably quiet on here today. I was expecting pages and pages to read when I got home. Hope everyone is ok - get chatting! :D

    hello all! :)

still 5 pages behind... just wanted to wish you all a lovely day... :)

I got plenty of sleep today, still in my pjs(yes, try by day ones! ;)), my phone is ringing all the time and a good news of today is I got offered an interview for the big one but had to ask for a different day as they wanted tomorrow and I have the trial day tomorrow(which is for a nice one too)... Either way one of those two will be the dream come true and mission completed :) So let's hope I can tell you what I do at some point next week! :D
On the other hand we wanted to find something new for bf too but he's been just told that there will be some major changes in the company he works for now and potentially he could earn 30-40% more then atm so we decided to wait and see how it goes... :o

I need to get our flat back to normal today(cleaning that is :o) and will go to see mr T later as I just run out of milk, need some more coffee and some other bits too...

Anyone checked the electric toothbrushes today or did they extend the offer again?

love ya all! :p and I'm glad our thread is all nice again! :A

For anyone who missed out on the boxes of £1 bold 2 in 1 rose and peony, actually I think everyone did. I think all we got was a sniff at the £1 SEL. :rotfl:Anyway the big bottles of the gel are half price at the moment, I think £3.39 or around that price. Can vouch for the lovely smell as I was part of the Supersavvyme trial. :D

You could get another £1 off if you have any of the vouchers from the SSM trial.

  • That wouldn't make any difference though if T's decide to block access to everyone to MSE.

I could imagine the press would have a field day with that one!!! :D

  • I noticed a couple of people requesting to be added back to the group that doesn't exist last night. Has anyone been added back? I put in a request and have heard nothing.

I've noticed with some products I was checking on mysupermarket (one was paxo stuffing) A & T stock slightly different pack sizes - I guess they 'can't' compare those! Sneaky supermarkets!

That's a sneaky trick that has been going on for years in Electricals - each retailer has a different model and then they advertise a price guarantee on it but you won't find it anywhere else ;)

I don't see how, Tesco own the network they can block access to any site they like (ASDA, mysupermarket etc) just like I can set my router to block any website or computer I want to block.

I'm not saying T's will block access, but it is their prerogative after all. If they do I'm sure someone more computer literate than me will be able to find a proxy site. ;)
