One little pep talk though if I may......nikki has succeeded for one simple reason, she's happy not smoking. If you see it as 'giving up' and will 'miss it' etc etc then you need to get your mind right first or withdrawal will be a nightmare and could well lead to failure.
Once you have convinced yourself that its simple drug addiction and the only thing that makes you want a ciggy is the last one you smoked, and that you can't wait to be rid of the smelly clothes, ash everywhere, empty purse/wallet blah blah blah then you are on a nice easy path.
HTH and good luck!Awaiting a new sig0 -

FK, you are so right, this time was different. It was the words from my DS when he said "Why are you saving loads of money with glitches but wasting so much money smoking?" And whats really spurred me on now is my OH has commented that he might try to give up as he knows how serious I am. And that for me would just be amazing if he gives up as he coughs and splutters so he really needs to stop:(lovecrafting wrote: »i would love to but at the moment i am not really in a position to quit, every little twinge i turn into a nervous wreck, if and when i make it to 20 weeks. i am quitting
(please please no one tell me what smoking is doing in pregnancy i already know and feel bad enough about it)
I confess I smoked right through being pregnant:o

anyone found a way to print more than one MOdern Milk on the same sheet of paper? It prints right in the middle
I save my vouchers as a PDF file, open the PDF file and use the little camera / snapshot button to highlight the voucher I want and then copy and paste into word and print a couple a page.
This is also useful if you don't want to print the huge picture some coupons come with.0 -
The thing that finally made me face up to it years ago. after many attempts, was that DD1 had just been born. MIL was always commenting that DD1 was their only grandchild that stunk of smoke. That really hit home, I was so ashamed:o
Artha I completely relate to that. My DS came home from school one day and said his teacher had asked if his mum or dad smoked because she could smell smoke on his clothes!! I hit the roof and complained to the school but even that didnt make me give up:oBeware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

now you cant even smoke in the car park. its kinda weird seeing patients in those fab nighties  attached to drips and stuff standing on the pavement next to the main road smoking.
i still smoke today. i have been a yo yo quitter. give up for a few months then something happens and i dive into the nearest fag shop and buy a packet.
There was a smoking room when I had DS and it was pretty grim in there, Swear they never cleaned it and the walls were yellow but it still didnt put me off:oBeware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
I can't go into too much detail but has anyone taken a big pile of clubcard vouchers in for the exchange thing only to be told some had already been used even though you still had them in your hand in pristine condition.
They can give a date & time but no details of which store they were used at & claim the clubcard was present.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone has had a similar experience, it wasn't me but I said I'd ask the experts
I have had experience of this, although it was online when I was setting up my clubcard account. I was having trouble setting it up (the My Clubcard had just launced and they were having a few glitches with the system), I rang the helpline and he could see that they had been used and that they were used with a difference CC number to mine .
The guy on the phone said that T would investigate and he credited my account with all of my 'stolen' vouchers. Didn't follow up the investigation, just chuffed that I got my vouchers back. HTH0
