Finally managed to get a 4p Boys bugs raincoat today in Blackpool by using the Sefl scanners, there are quite a few left by the way.

I also got the biscuits and was charged £10 a tin but when I went to Customer services they informed me they don't to DTD on self service scanners as I should have noticed the price. My argument was that I used Self service as the checkouts were so busy and I did notice them go through at £10 but assumed that they would be discounted at the end with the B1G1F items etc and that as my 3 year old was chatting i hadn't noticed the total as I went through. I was given it after CS phoned up to the duty manager but it was explained that this was a one off.
Does anyone know if DTD does not apply on self scanners for future reference. Thankyou

Well have emailed philip clarke about my gift sets - quoting false and misleading advertising so hopefully will hear back soon. How long does it normally take to get a reply ?

Well done "lala" on your giving up, and czer' good luck with it - think of all the positves that will come out of it if you stick with - ALL your baby stuff that you have hidden away may get used quicker than you thought!!!! got everything crossed for you.

Really wish i could do it myself but i know im not in the right mind set at the moment as working away from home a lot so find i get really bored being on my own a lot of the time so sad to admit i really do enjoy having a ciggy - hopefully when finances improve drastically and i don't have to work away then i will be able to give up, i know im not helping the finances with smoking but feel i deserve them for being away from my family for three weeks of the month.

Store is actually S0ut4 Wi@5ton, on the main Bl@by rd. opposite the park. its not an extra and theyre usually really upto date with everything never found any ood sels or 4p bargains, but i live in hope, are you far? where's your nearest?
