So now that the new folks have joined, is it clear that there's nothing untoward going on?

    Hi Guys,

I've been lurking about on here for about 3 weeks now haven't looked for any 4p items but have found things like pringles, flash wipes and few other cheep items.

I went to Mr t's this morning and found a newly stocked shelf of the lindam bed rails but all had stickers over the barcodes so my thoughts were that they would scan at full price (£22.50) so I took 1 to a scanner and they are still scanning at 60p result.

my best find so far was a Smart Trike pink All in One normally £108 scanned at £30 found this about 6 weeks ago before I knew about this site.

Also got a online food shop last night using all the codes posted on here and got a £52.99 shop for £26.99

I'm liking this site more and more each day thanks guys ;)

Would you have a barcode for the trike please?? We must have children about the same age as I got a bedrail last week for 60p and my 18m old would love a smart trike!:)

it's all the smart trikes, managed to get 3 different ones for various relatives for under £60 - but they are not likely to be cheap any more, lots of the larger items that were chaep 2 months ago are now coming back in full price

It doesn't matter where you go, replacement phones will nearly always be reconditioned. The only exception to this is of the phone is too new for any phones to be returned to be fixed. All the companies you see advertising on TV offering cash for your mobile if you research them they are owned/subsidiaries of phone shops/phone insurance companies etc. they buy them up cheap and use them as reconditioned units for replacements.

I've only ever had one problem with CPW but it was sorted out properly. Until I bought an iPhone I always bought my phones from CPW (I always went to the same guy as I got good service).

I have had no end of trouble with reconditioned units from apple but because of my Autism I just don't have it in me to fight them. I had a problem with the CD drive in my MacBook and I researched the problem on the Internet to find lots of people were having the same problem. One day sis announces hers has been doing the same for quite some time. Sis and I both went in to Apple and they flatly refused to acknowledge a problem and said it was a coincidence. You can't win with these companies unless you fully know your rights and are wiling, if necessary to take it much further and persevere.

Hi Happy Chappy...if I was told upfront that the replacement phone was a reconditioned phone then I would have been disappointed but would have accepted it as I know that legally they can give you a reconditioned replacement. The replacement phone failed and the branch manager was, initially, unwilling to replace with ANY phone and I had to 'fight' for an outcome to the problem, this along with calls not being returned by customer services puts CPW in a bad light.

I agree that you can't win with them, the law seems to be on their side. Such a shame that customer service is so poor, if only they realised that if they offered good customer service then we would be more than likely to return to them.

Mine is the pink one and the b/c is 5019090443890.

Now that I look at the box again the barcode that is on mine is a sticker over the original barcode thats printed on the box :think: strange....but it def scanned for 60p!

Ah Sunday afternoon and I'm on the....milkshake. I'm enjoying a chocolate one for dessert. ;)

Going to pop out in a bit to look for the hairspray in Sainsbury, can't actually remember the last time I went there. Will probably find all the things like the Plenty kitchen rolls and Blonde Pantene that I cannot find in Ts and momentarily forget where I am and get all excited. :o Been there done it in Asda before. ;)

I got the pink one the original barcode (5019090 443715) has a sticker over it with new barcode 5019090443715. White SEL £24.97 (I think) but scanned 60p. The box is much smaller than I expected too so had been looking for something completely different. I had mine in Ffach, swansea. Shelf has been empty for 4 weeks then all of a sudden there were 4 on Thursday. HTH:)
