  • Morning all :D

I have a quick question if you don't mind? I've got a fuel voucher that says valid until 15/11/11 will I still be able to use it on the 15th or will I need to use it before then? Cheers in advance :D

Heading to Mr T's shortly. Going to use the last of my vouchers to double up to get a phone for SS's christmas, it's the phone he really wants, so after doubling up it's gonna cost us the grand total of £9.95 :D:D Delighted with that, as will he be come Christmas day!

Will have a wee wander round the clothes section while I'm there and see if anything cathces my eye, allthough I'm not particularly after anything (must be coming down with something lol)
...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

  • This thread is moving so quickly I'm having trouble keeping up.
I'm off to Mr T's for some more clear storage boxes. Not a glitch but I think a good offer while they are on 3 for 2.

  • Good morning everyone.

Hmm, well I'm a bit disappointed tbh.

Just back from Mr T's and finally met a fellow MSEer. Hooray! I saw that she had some scarves in her basket and found some more to share. She then prceeded to take the ones I had offered her, along with more than one of different styles, so that I didn't get a couple of the nice sparkly ones as she had put them in her basket already! Then she had the cheek to tell me not to take them all!
I saw her her once again as I was finishing my normal shopping in the store and all she could do was look suspiciously in my basket. :(
She wasn't very friendly and I didn't dare ask her MSE username. Not sure whether she's a lurker or not :(. Something she said makes me think that she might be in the 'secret' FB group - which would be a bit of a shame.

I was really looking forward to sharing finds and bargains with a fellow MSEer. :(

Hope you're all having a good day so far. I've got about 20 pages to read on this thread to catch up. Stop talking so much! ;) xx

what did she say, and wherever she is from there is no excuse for being unfriendly with people especially when they have helped you find something.

The fellow shopper may not have been an MSEer. They could have been a lurker or someone that read the FB posts on Ts clothing page the other night. If they were a fellow MSEer then that wasn't a very nice experience you just had.

As for the 'secret FB group' have you sent a PM to anyone to ask to join? The group is secret in terms of how FB describes it but there's nothing to stop you joining. We're not plotting to take over the world or buy up all the 4p clothes and start car booting. The page, is simply a condensed form of this thread. There's pics of the clothes, a list of bargains with their barcodes, a list of stores & their scanner locations.

Send me a PM with your FB email address and I'll add you so you can see for yourself and not feel left out. Trust me, you will be disappointed that all the hype about secret handshakes is a load of waffle.
  • altho... a secret handshake might be handy when in store lol im convinced the bloke who always seems to be in there when i am is a mse er lol

(clearly i am joking please dont kill me)
  • Just ask the coded question, "Are you friend of Martin?"
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D
