I'm not siding with the OP and I still think its a wind up, but the devils advocate in me says a few people are being less than honest with themselves in the way they have criticised others tonight and run off to create a secret group.
totally agree, hate the thought of a clique being created, but who am I to have that opinion. Have loved reading all these posts, too shy to join in but have had a few glasses of wine tonight and posted0 -
I'm not biting tonight. Having spent ages with the kiddos then another age trying to catch up, I've been able to read this whole thing with a clear head and not feel involved. There have been some vile comments on here including some I've been on the receiving end of myself in the past.
I think the best thing is for everyone to take a step back, get an early night and come back fresh and ready to glitch in the morning. This thread is better than all the trolling. Don't let the trolls/lurkers/noobs ruin it.0 -
Completely agree, not sure what's going on as I've not read any back posts for the last 24 hours just this page
Not sure if I should bother if it's just bickering.
This is not how it normally is. Give it a day or so to settle down and I am sure you will be as addicted to the forum as me. It is funny and useful and there are some really gr8 people on hereAvatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

PMSL Phil 'whatshisface' didn't TELL tesco anything they didn't already know! It really makes me laugh that a few bargain hunters think they are so much cleverer than a multi billion pound global organisation. The fact that you took his playing up on the FB thread so much to heart and got so huffy about it is frankly embarrasing!
Let me correct you on one thing....this thread IS brilliant, not WAS. :T
No Hun, It Was. At the moment, its all, he said, she said, theyre doing this yar di yar di yar. And yes Tesco knew about it. However, if they wanted it broadcast, theyd have organised a market campaign around it. Think of all of us that has gone to tescos purely for the glitches, then bought other little buts to pad shopping out, things that we wouldnt normally have bothered about. Increase that with the strength of a marketing campaign, and Tescos would have made even more cash.
I havent taken anything to heart, and to a point I think you have misunderstood the whole purpose of the facebook group. Its not to replace this thread, we all know its irreplaceable! Its not to divide people loyalties, or anything negative. Youve seen yourself the posts about pming local members, the whole issues with swaps etc. The facebook group has the photos all in one place. People are offering swaps, or saying where items are stashed. Just information that they may have felt a little uncomfortable in saying.
I have no idea why people are bickering. That wasnt what this thread was about. This thread has welcomed so many people, instantly, into the fold, and should continue to do so0 -
OMG i go out for the night just been to see disney on ice, and all hell has broke lose what is going on are people leaving to post there finds on face book now havent read back at everything but i will.0

Just back in, had a lovely night with an old friend who's more like a second Mum to me but I was getting texts all night from one of the family who lives at the other end of the country almost starting an argument with me, not looking forward to sorting that out tomorrow.
If anyone is still up I need a BIG hug, okay if I can find out where I was up to this afternoon, I'm going to catch up with everyones day. I hope there's a new 4p boxers pic from Mr March.
:grouphug:
mr March is there but no mr April yet
and the thread got trolled0 -

I had no idea there was someone out there going round buying them for charity. I wish to apologise to you, and thank you for what you've done. I feel quite sick reading this.
I am signing off for a bit now, I'm not usually a person to do bad things but this feels bad to me..... Good night all
It most certainly was NOT aimed at you. Please do not feel bad. I don't go round collecting things just happened to be passing purely by chance and knew I had read they had some in that store? There was a fellow MSEr in too and we shared.
I promise this was not aimed at you. It was aimed at the people who go off and get hauls of loads of things and happily post photos of them and everyone pats their backs and that's okay. I get the scarves for a charitable cause .... Close to my heart and get abuse for it.

A lot of people are getting annoyed with lurkers taking all the stuff, as said yes its a free forum but it's not "fair". For example celebrate (sorry to mention your name hun) came all the way from doncaster to wath to get something which had almost been cleared out when I know there was loads left which I shared. Its things like that, which aren't fair. It takes 30 seconds to register and say hey thanks for that I took x amount, or this is x amount left.
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -

So you've read on here where they were and what they looked like then snatched them all so that you can feel good about yourself? Hmmmmm sounds like there's a bit of a god complex going on there if you ask meMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0
