Every morning I log in and catch up with this thread and make a note of all the posts I could give a helpful response to but by the time I have caught up, half a dozen other people have already done so.

I end up making a stupid, pointless post like 'bought some PJs today...' just to be able to join in.

But it's such a nice thread that regardless of how much we post, we feel part of it. I have learned so much about savvy shopping from people on this thread and have gained confidence

But I am also genuinely interested in finding out how interviews went/has lost money been found/moving house stories/where people hide their bargains :rotfl: And just how much fun it can be to go trout baiting!!

Happychappy finally got his ear sorted, after alot of cyber-bullying:)
QPR thought of doing a Page 1 similar to the coupon thread for our 'finds' but was talked out of it by the regulars
Some people spent ages trying to get 10 free items on a Sainsbury Entertainment glitch
Some people managed to find 4p items in their local (not me, grrrr!)
There was chat about America

After fab steak dinner could hear fireworks going off, then smoky smell, sirens, outside noise.... eventually put X Factor on pause & took a gander up our road.

Luckily the family are away. 3 fire engines = 18 firemen = 36 cups of tea & lots of Jammy Dodgers - all neighbours helping

Oh, that's terrible. It's lucky they weren't in the house but still ...............

Makes you count your blessings. It's especially horrible at this time of year when anything bad happens.

Btw a handy tip....I left my full trolley in the cafe trolley park ,you paid a £1 and get it refunded when you pick up it up,then done some more shopping.

I changed my username to something that was less likely to be traced back to me so I would feel comfortable giving details of any glitches I found without fear of retribution.

Paranoid perhaps but I found myself not wanting to post things as my username included my real name.
