This thread is so much more than making it easy for lurkers. Adding things in bold still requires effort as every post that is quoted puts the OPs user name in bold so it's not a matter of skimming for anything in bold. I would suggest that if people want spoon fed with deals they go to HUKD. That wasn't aimed at anyone who takes the time to post on here but more the lurkers who post once in a blue moon to complain about the chat making it hard for them to find the bargains *boo hoo*."
I am a lurker ( there I am out of the closet! lol) but only because due to being at the hospital 3 days a week and looking after my 87 year old mum who has dementia cannot afford the time or petrol to go out of town to Tesco unless am confident of glitch on something I would use.
But I so agree with the above OP I don't just come on here looking for bargains - it's like joining a group of people for a chat - even though I don't do much chatting myself, in every group there is always "the listeners".
Keep up the good work people, I really appreciate the chat and all the hard work those of you who find the glitches do.
Thank you QPR for starting the fantastic, friendly thread
I agree with these sentiments even though I was criticised some time ago for apparently saying the opposite. Nothing could have been further from the truth and it was partly(probably) due to some peoples need to skim read comments as this thread can be quite time consuming for some.
I do get a bit frustrated looking for some things at times but accept it because it's free :j and if you are a regular poster or even lurker you soon find out where things are. Missing the odd bargain because it isn't where you think it should be is hardly a disaster. I think if the moaners were paying to access the site then there might be a case to answer.Awaiting a new sig0 -

Lurkers to me are those who aren't even registered or worse still, those that are registered who come on here and have a moan at all the chat. That's why we've ended up with this thread as well as the Misprice 12 thread on the main grabbit forum as certain people were giving off about the chit-chat even though the thread title clearly stated AND DISCUSSION.
I'm not on here all the time and when I've missed something you guys are nice enough to come back and relpy saving me hours trawling the thread. I like that I feel I know everyone on here. Some people have sent me some really nice PMs and I now know some more priavte stuff about them so I feel like a kindred spirit on here.
Right I'm away to try and make myself at least look human. Heading to my wonderful folks for dinner via Ts of course. The MTV EMAs are taking place tonight only a couple of miles away from where they live so hoping the usual idiots don't try to make a political statement on tonight of all nights. There's already been reports of a very loud bang in the area but no-one knows what yet  Could do without being caught up in a bomb-scare in this weather with 2 young kids. Actually, I might pack a Thermos & extra bottle for DS2 just in case.0 -

I don't mean to be a lurker but it turns out that way most days.
Every morning I log in and catch up with this thread and make a note of all the posts I could give a helpful response to but by the time I have caught up, half a dozen other people have already done so.
I end up making a stupid, pointless post like 'bought some PJs today...' just to be able to join in.If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -
