I have noticed a lot of posts which say ss gives a message for assistance, it always seems to be on the 4th item (same barcode). This could be an automatic thing to stop people bulk buying any item I used to work in a store which had a simular procedure in place.

Lol yeah that's the ones!! I see that's a shocking review on them, I have yet to sample them so cannot comment on the taste!

been lurking lately, been doing lots of decorating and xmas shopping and clearing out old stuff so not had time to chat and haven't found anything to post about however after skimming tonight i saw the Phil and FB thing LMAO at phil calling karen a trout , sooo thought that myself after the "management need to know" comment so who's local does she work in ? lol

TBH i think t's are well aware of the 4p items by now they'd need to be pretty dense not to................then again it's t's

oh and one last thing the light strikers are now scanning at £30 in [EMAIL="M@ryhill"]M@ryhill[/EMAIL] and St R0ll0x , no knifes there haven't noticed the dressing robes either sadly , no bikes either, 4 showing in stock none to be found in store and no chugginton sets , the moonsand bake shop and construction set are now scanning at £22

i'm glad i didnt get trouted with my 4 the other day then! And there was a SA with the person next to me and she was watching me trying to get the trays in the carrier bag- i really wanted to go grab a load of haribo's or something to push my 4p and 1p stuff off the screen

one tip i did get from SS and the trays today - could help...

It did say 'contact member of staff/wait for assistance or whatever it says.... this is upon scanning the 3rd tray.

Take the tray off the bagging section, wait a sec, then put it back..... then carry on scanning... worked for me but i only got 4 of the trays... worth a try though. xx

I think we all know we would end up with a phil or some other lurker it's common sense that we would be watched in forums. Personally i think they are just looking out for large DTD glitches like the £60 light strikes, but for all the 1p and 4p stuff have you ever thought it might be another marketing plot by mr T to get us all going to the store to search for stuff that they wan't rid of (old stock) and we end up doing a bit of shopping when we are in there? Don't all start giving me pelters just a thought :cool:

hey everyone just popping on to say a massive thank you for everyone thats posted about the scarves :T managed to pick up 3 today so very very pleased!!! T's doesn't have a scanner so i just saw to ss10 on the lable and took a chance, thanks to the lovely sa who saw the price and let me have them! there not all trouts surprised how nice they are, something i never would of treated myself to normally
