Hilarious website, predictive texts gone wrong :rotfl:

Thank you soooooooooooo much! I'm on page 6 with the tears tripping me. I saw the first page and didn't think there'd be anything I hadn't seen before. You've made my day/week/month/year with that link :rotfl:

hiya all , cant believe i am awake at this hour  had a really long day and asleep by 11 but dd woke me up coughing at 1am and been reading through here ever since ! so enjoy catching up on everyones bargains and experiences !

went to new yate store today (scanners still not working !! ) as fancied some dtd and myself and my friend found bakugan and light strikes :j so were really pleased ! then wondering round i notices tune and mayo on end and half price so grabbed 2 of each .

lady marking down items had done loads and loads of salmon £1 so hoping that it would still take of money picked up 8 each and it took of £8 so free salmon !!! now i dont actually like salmon but dropped it to a friend who has a family of 9 and she was well pleased !!!! dont often get enough of anything to benefit her so i was very pleased to would of been £24 worth as 4 for £12 !

also worth mentioning ive notice on meat offers and tapas it take of the discount even if they are whoopsied too so keep an eye on that and if not sure use self scan and total it to check as on some items like pizza and kievs it has not worked !

we then got cheap hot chicken too ! and our other shopping then off to ss to pay as wanted to double check salmon . by this time i was worn our it has been a very long day ( social worker arrived at 9am we are being assesed as foster carers :) and had not stopped since ) so putting everything through and dd and friend kept leaning on the scales and drawing attention to us ... and took ages ! stess ! luckily sa was lush nothing trout like going on !

then we went to customer service and lovely lady went off to look at offers ( this was just before 8pm) she was gone a while and came back having not found toys that i has to show her and saying that £2.79 for a 600g jar of hellmans mayo is half price:eek: i politely explained that no way on this earth would anyone pay over £5 for mayo so she then called a manager who then agreed we could have dtd on this and not toys .......so i said oh how does that make sense then ? and was told not on toys as over £30??? so i said thats not what the policy says behind you and also if that was the case i should at least be being offered £30 ! so another call to the manager who agreed dtd :T by the time we got it shorted it was 8:45 and we had been at cs nearly and hour and kids well over tierd as past bed time we both has dead phone and two oh's wondering where there families had got to .....got home 9:30 feeling like a naughty school girl !! but was it worth it and would i do it again YEP !!! LOVE IT !! ( also our kids are not usually out this late we just lost all track of time as went into tesco about 6 after softplay and feeding kids and didnt expect for it to take so long )

also ive never been trouted for using ss

anyway sorry to go on hope that helps abit......better try and sleep now or i will be hanging tomorrow !

night all and well done on your finds xxx

    Good Morning everyone!

I would ask how everyone is on this bright morning - but it's still dark outside! :(

I'm ridiculously excited at the prospect of going to Mr T's today for a bit of bargain hunting. Will report back later if I discover anything good.

Hope you all have a good day. xx
