  • I may get up early and pop into my local on the way to work on the hunt for scarfs we will see. Or just keep to my promise and not enter Mr T's until Friday.....

What a luvly jubbly night:D Managed to find the elusive bed guards 60P, Bought one, left 2 on shelves (Briz store) harrys nuts (cashews 38p by the wine) and chicken strips(breaded) DTD Free chicken. Not bad I thought. Then found A 5p coupon for petrol, filled car up, paid, got discount and the lady gave the coupon back:T Went to eastv1lle store and got 6 chicken strips(free, but kids will soon get fed up of them!) and 2 pairs of value jeans, Label price of £3 but went through till @ £5, so £8 back, £1 each. Good night I think!

Forgot to say earlier I also seen the te*co 1hr battery charger in store today, no scanner so didn't want to risk it, anyone know if this is still scanning cheap? Got really excite when I seen it as have been searching for weeks in my usual store and shelves are always bare :(

I have also been looking for one of these and managed to find one in Ballymoney last weekend, helpful SA scanned for me, £2, similar one was £13.50.

Just back from T's and I gotta say........ I take my hat off to all you posters going out and finding all these 4p items :T:T:T

I was on my own (which makes a change) so thought I would take the opportunity to scan loads. Went to clothing dept and found mens boxers, trunks, socks (no dressing gowns :() with AW10/SS11 codes and then went over to ladies section and found socks & pyjamas (no scarves :() with the same codes. Took them all to the scanner and everything scanned at the right price!!

Kelloggs had a SEL of £1.00 and scanned at this and there were no lynx instinct on the shelves. The lynx musicstar shower gel scanned at £2.xx (although I have since seen above posts and think it may have been the wrong one).

I did get 1 little bargain, may have seen it mentioned a while ago.... Logitech Ultra-Flat Keyboard, barcode 5099206 987524 SEL and scanned at £1.25! This is something I really need as half the letters on my current one are worn off so only me and DD1 can use it properly..... the OH does try but it takes him forever because he doesn't know where the letters are :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Quite funny to watch though! :)

  • Had quite a liberating day & didnt put one foot in Mr T's today, instead I went to Mr S's!! Pack of 2 Quorn quarter pounders (frozen) 25p, kids'll never know they aren't meat! Findus pork sausage & mustard mash 49p (frozen) & birds eye 4 beef burgers 75p, chicago town edge to edge pizza's 75p. Kept seeing things I wanted then had to remind myself that I wasn't in Mr T's so wouldnt get them for 4p or free! Placemats & coasters mentioned earlier were full price, they did have a shelf of beach towels at £3 each, but it seems expensive if it has a pound sign in front of it these days!!!lol
  • Finally caught up again.

The kellogs variety pack, there are 2 different ones. in my store today there was 2 sels one for 49p and one for £2+ obviously the 49p was empty but I noticed they were different weights. Can't remember what though.

  • Finally finished catching on the thread, it's taken me 1 and 1/2 hours  This thread is so entertaining though, so you've got to read every post otherwise you might miss something.

Mymerrywidow – Feeling any better yet? I’ve calmed down a lot since I got home from work, only one more day then got 10 days off work.

Jumblejack – Thanks for posting more brilliant deals from HUKD.

Happy – Glad you ear is getting better. Would probably get better if you took the tablets and drops, but can’t talk as I keep forgetting to take my tablets for my hand as well.

Purdita – That story has made my evening, my OH wondered why I was hysterically laughing :rotfl: Must have been an awful moment, but glad you can see the funny side of it. I’d just wait for 6 months until the T’s usual turn round of staff then you’ll be fine.

Celebrate – Sorry to hear about your mum, hope she makes a full recovery.

Nikkilala – Well done for not giving in, keep the good work up.

Mumsmoneysaverxx – Cheers for the Zhu Zhu info, my DD is mad about them will have to keep an eye out on my next trip out. Was it my imagination or did someone else mention that ‘Stinker’ Wild Bunch was also scanning at £1?

French Knickers – Feel better soon, Savers are currently selling Beechams Hot Blackcurrants/Lemons at £1 box HTH.

Hope everyone has a good evening and good luck tomorrow. I think i'm going to head to bed now, as got a long day Friday and need to get as much sleep and reserve as much energy as possible.

    Night :)
