thanks for all the goodwill messages re my mum, she's picking up but been a hectic day and i am shattered, just got the kids to bed, OH may or may not come home tomorrow ....we will see but goodness knows when I am going to get a decent dinner made, I'm doing extra hours all week:(

Nah....thought I might have last night. They had a massive pile of them at £12.50. Rummaged through the lot....but they all had the same barcode and it wasn't the one you gave. Boo!!
There is never much in the bedding line in this store though, so perhaps they are only in the big extras. Might take a trip to Plymouth at the weekend and there are two Extras there I could try. I could really
do with some new pillows too!My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

you can put it with your shopping if going through a normal till and ask SA to cancel if it goes through at a higher price, if it is your only item take to a SS till and then pretend you forgot some other shopping or you forgot your purse:A
but sorry no i haven't bought one recently thoughGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Hello friends
Just a quick post from me today. I scanned a fair few items with OOD SELs...namely tins of biscuits and Riverway sausages and a Nescafe gold blend refill pack, all of which scanned at correct price or even below grrrr! The Riverway sausages that I thought might provide a good dtd scanned at £2, however this was the cumberland flavour. The regular pork flavour was marked up at £4+ SEL (can't remember exact price) so one that might be worth looking out for if you can find a pack with the £2 sticker. I couldn't check the price as there wasn't any!!
One small dtd for me....jammy dodgers, marked at £1.15 bogof and scan at £1.15 or 2 for £1.50. DTD back no questions asked so 2 packs for 80p
Am thinking I might have a round trip tomorrow to hunt down some of the gorgeous 4p scarves and fingers and toes crossed some superskinny jeans?!! Althought I should REALLY be applying for jobs!'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
Not a massive glitch but ok if you use a lot of dried fruit the whitworths big bags of dried fruit (I got raisins sultanas and currants) the 2 for 3 home baking kicks in as well as the stickered buy 2 for £3 so if you buy 6 bags it works out around 90p a bag not the £1.79 they start off at0

Knock at the door and there are two burly men standing there telling me they had come to fit my panic alarm (the one which rings through to the police, long story involves ex husband but thats another story) In they come with a big briefcase all locked up etc, they ask where they can plug it into so I suggest my dining room as less chance of children touching it there. Leave them to get on with it then they take me through how to use it. I thank them and see them to the door, as they are walking down my drive i can see something hanging from the side of the briefcase flapping in the wind, to my horror i spot my lacy pink knickers:eek:, I stand there beetroot red and gobsmacked, at this point the other guy spots them and says to his mate ummm I think you have something belonging to that lady, they come back inside and at this point cannot look them in the face im so embarrassed, he then proceeds to take what seemed like an eternity to find his keys, unlock the case and hand me back my knickers. They teased me, obviously sensing how much i was cringing. About 10months later one of them comes back to collect the alarm and tells me how much its always talked about in the office/staffroom and how when they train staff its always brought up
Ouch!:o:o
