  • We all need Blackberrys. According to the Daily Mail, its the must have tool of organised criminals and rioters.....and now tesco glitchers. Actualy, thinking about it, u can send picture FOC too. very moneysaving. We could have a BBM fan club.....we could all dress in £20 coats, lounge bottoms, and fluffy socks, dring dry marting, shaken not stirred......am i going to far now???? lol

I've never liked Blackberrys (the phone not the fruit) someone I know had one and it was constantly crashing. I tried using it once and I got so frustrated with it he had to take it off me before I launched it at a wall.:o:o

The one thing I did like about BB's was the BB messenger service but iPhones have that now anyway. :)

..My comment was posted as genuine, well meaning advice as nobody else seems to have thought of this yet although the free wi-fi has been mentioned. Considering how (rightly) cynical the majority of posters on here are with regards to Tesco's motives and policies, do you REALLY think they have provided the free wi-fi connection out of the goodness of their hearts...

I am both intrigued and fascinated by this thread (I can't really absorb it all, lol). A couple of questions (if someone would be so kind as to clarify for me - or point me in right direction), the 'wi-fi' mentioned in above quote - what's it referring to? Also, how are these glitches, incorrect prices, discovered in the first place?...oh, and I haven't noticed my local branch of Te$c0 (see, I am learning, lol) mentioned - so I'm thinking unknown territory, lol.

    Thanks all.

Perhaps we should answer essexhebs questions on post 1 because people just keep on asking! Then we can politely say, to answer your questions see post 1. We look forward to your return to the thread in a moment where you shall become a

I wasn't preaching. I was making an advised observation. I also wasn't pointing out anything obvious, I was asking a couple of genuine questions. What a shame you couldn't be bothered to be helpful rather than posting the above.

It wasnt that I couldnt be bothered, I think you will find that I am quite a helpful poster in general. It just gets a little bit tedious when people post on here about the other board, of course we are aware it's there. We were moved here by a mod as some people complained about too much chat on the thread, now you are complaining that new deals are being posted on here and that it's too much effort to read all 3 threads. We cannot win on here, we either talk too much or shouldnt be posting deals here, can you understand our frustration??

Your comment about hiding store names and it being because posters didnt want anyone else on there patch is absolute twaddle!!! and actually offensive, this is a caring, sharing, thread:T It's a well known fact on most threads and on these boards that the store name is slightly changed so as T's find it harder to identify it.

You're not related to ARTHA by any chance are you;)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
  • I asked two genuine questions and gave one bit of gentle advice - in return for which I got several rude, arrogant responses (of which yours is one) - as I take it from that the majority of users of this thread (and I am a regular reader, and always thank when I find something useful - on the Tesco threads) seem to be like this, why on earth would that encourage me to join in?! :rotfl: I wonder if the real reason for the store names being obscured might be more to do with not wanting other money-savers to dare to trespass on "your patch"? (Don't bother by the way, it's rhetorical - the defensive nature of the responses makes the answer quite clear!)

Thank you - nice to have one personal prepared to behave decently and give a straight answer to a straight question. Still interested to know why everything can't go on one thread though? This one is rather "hidden away" being with the expired stuff.

Try checking out the legal definitions of fraud. The word "intent" also has bearing here - you are going out with intent to gain from Tesco's mis-pricing. The active searching out of the deals could potentially be an issue. My comment was posted as genuine, well meaning advice as nobody else seems to have thought of this yet although the free wi-fi has been mentioned. Considering how (rightly) cynical the majority of posters on here are with regards to Tesco's motives and policies, do you REALLY think they have provided the free wi-fi connection out of the goodness of their hearts, with absolutely nothing to gain from it and no thoughts of how it can be used to their benefit?!

If I was working for Tesco's legal team, this thread would be extremely interesting, obscured store names or not.....

Thanks to those who were prepared to give pleasant responses - your input is appreciated.

The reason store names are typed in code is to stop Tesco Trouts searching for particular stores and going and correcting glitches before anyone else gets a chance at them, not to stop other people on here getting them.

Still had no confirmation of this working in the Extra's?

Wouldn't mind stocking up on these bits.

I don't know about Extra's but it doesn't work in my nearest superstore. I thought I'd struck gold as they had loads of them, all shapes and sizes......and all scanning at full price :(
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

I love this thread..:):):) .I not always have time to read every post, but when I have a spare few minutes or so then I pop here to read all your stories, advice given to 'friends'..and if I feel down in the dumps then this is the place that will cheer me up. Reading about the bargains comes second to the banter, care and advice given on this thread. :):)

DON'T CHANGE IT...it's perfect as it is! :T If people not like it then are free to go elsewhere, no one makes them read the thread.
    Born to glitch :D
