I wasn't preaching. I was making an advised observation. I also wasn't pointing out anything obvious, I was asking a couple of genuine questions. What a shame you couldn't be bothered to be helpful rather than posting the above.

Errr your first words were "why are we posting deals on this thread when it's been expired" followed by " for those of us who don;t have all day, every day, to sit and look through them for deals it makes life very complicated!"

If that was meant to be a genuine, "I'm not sure why there are 2 or 3 threads but I'll listen to any answer given" then I apologise for my response. I read it as "you're all posting the deals in the wrong place and making it hard for me to nab all the bargains".

Correct me anyone if I was wrong.
  • us lot here, chat (lots of) care, and cheer each other up when down. we give out medical advice (nagging)

    Don't I know it. :o:o:rotfl:
  • Well said Caz, I was trying to think how to put it myself.

I only found this thread again a week or so ago, you guys are fab, welcomed me with open arms, and provided fantastic information and helped loads.

If people come to the thread with the right attitude, you'll be right at home.

The phrase 'for those of us who don;t have all day, every day, to sit and look through them' doesnt give a great impression.

And as for the fraud thing.............whatever!

Actually all I wanted was a bit of friendly courtesy, but that's in short supply on here, eh.

I also can't remember complaining about the banter - it's what makes these sorts of threads fun, and interesting to read......interesting the way so many folk seem to have private issues with it though!

If this thread is fun and interesting to read then why complain that we're not posting in the other thread and making it difficult for you?

There's the polite way and then there's impolite way to ask a question. Any clues as to why the answers you've received have been short of politeness?
  • If anyone wants me to donate a 4p boys blue raincoat 9-12m or 12-18m PM me.

I got a bit excited when I found some.

You seem to be an intelligent and well spoken person Essex. Just before this goes any further, just take a look at your first post on this thread, read it, and see if you can understand why it may get some peoples backs up.

Hopefully you will then understand the responses you've been given

Perhaps we should answer essexhebs questions on post 1 because people just keep on asking! Then we can politely say, to answer your questions see post 1. We look forward to your return to the thread in a moment where you shall become a

If you pick up a copy of the Tesco magazine, front cover woman with white hat brown hair and white coat and you turn to page 39 Buy any 3 gifts and get the cheapest free from the 1st November to 3rd January 2012...the pictures are the half price gift sets that started today  eg, vaseline tin, small impulse set (pink), Lynx, Dove men + care and another Dove set.
Aaaaarghh! Just bought 3!! Nowt like rubbing salt in the wounds!!! Just picked up a light Strike with rest of my shopping, headed to a TFT (trout free till) and proceeded to checkout, trout on till next door shouts across 'THAT SHOULD HAVE SCANNED AT £30'!! so SA who would have otherwise been oblivious called supervisor to adjust the price! So annoyed! Do Tesco's take stuff back without receipts?

Anyway I did manage to get 2 x rainbow forest in my pocket toys for 70p Thnx op for them, they are my only consolation!
Going to weep into my cuppa now!

Basically if you see my post # 1365 this isn't your regular quick one - stop bargain hunting thread thats why we've put ourselves here not to hamper anyones bargain hunting we are tucked away, we are a little collection of MSE's who have bonded and like to chat & support each other in difficult times thats not to say we don't welcome newbies on here, we do, but that said, we don't want to be criticised for the way we go about things either. What you see is what you get with us & there is a dress code- Tesco pj's those of us who haven't found any have to use our keyboards to protect our modesty

Oh and leave my mate Nikki alone she is the guru on here :D and is trying hard to stop smoking
