I think the point is when Sapphire's parents came here we had a lot more room! and a lot less social security benefits being paid out.
The whole point is not that we are foreigner bashing but we are trying to retain some order in this country - do you really want the whole system to fail totally?
And Im sorry, but not all immigrants are escaping from wars and persecution
But surely, if people have made it here in the past and then gone on to have their own children then it is they that have made it cramped.
Of course not all immigrants are escaping wars after all there are many from the EU ( as we have the perfect right to go there) and people from all over the world keeping NHS and teaching going ,where of course the government has gone out there into the big ole world to bring them here to save British lives. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Ah, here we go. Now that the racism tag has failed, the Marxist socialist goes in search of another tag to label people to silence their viewpoint.
We now have xenophobic. So, now that we've proven that we're not racists, we must be xenophobic and hate johny foreigner. A phobia is an irrational fear of something. I do not fear foreigners, let me put the record straight once again, for the slow learners amongst us.
I don't think that another 5 million people in England by 2020 is a good idea. Nor do I think that another 11 million in less than 25 years is a good think. We're a crowded nation, our infrastructure is already stretched and we can't afford to build new stuff, because NuLabour has already bankrupted the country and all the stuff bought on credit AKA PFI is costing us an absolute fortune.
We don't need or want to be building 10 Birminghams in the nest 25 years, we don't want to concrete over the countryside, cause more pollution and flooding. People of this country are quite entitled to say, no more please, if not, where do we stop, 100 million, 150 million?
Now that this tag from Hamish has failed, expect some others to come out to try and silence you, perhaps Islamophobic and homophobic will be next.0 -

What gives you entitlement to your house or any of your possessions or your job or anything that you own.

Wait a minute I thought they were taking all the jobs, hard working etc etc
After talking to many people from my parents' country, it is completely obvious that all they are coming here for is to receive the generous benefits that they would not receive in their own country.
So are they all signing on? or are they taking all our jobs?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

You can take jobs and receive benefits, so the answer is both.
If, say an East European comes over here but leaves his wife and children at home, he can work here but also claim British child benefit etc. and have it paid directly home. He will also generally work for less, so has the effect of causing wage deflation for the poorest paid.
Since NuLabour changed the law, it is now legal to have up to four wives, so legally he could claim for four wives and all their offspring.0 -

I did, I answered it, you were just too dim to understand it.0 -

That's a relief, can you imagine the SS bill if they were all single mums
