Just contact them and they'll replace it again. The freephone no is 0800 9555888. I don't know another company with such excellent customer service and this makes it much easier to sell the products. They stand by everything they sell.

I contacted them after the second one cracked, they wouldn't replace as they said i'd had it for too long. I threw it away. It was £35 so i wasn't best pleased.
I've still got Tupperware i bought before my son was born, he's 24 ! I also have a set of AMC pans which are 28 years old, last year they sent me a replacement set of knobs as one was broken. Pampered Chef stuff is nice but way overpriced.

So you pay £110 to join then, and then you make money by selling to customer,s and enrolling new distributors.

In the present economic climate i wouldnt have thought there was much mileage in selling expensive kitchen tools etc .

Yes you might think that but this year I have done 85 shows and £37,000 in sales so I am quite pleased with that!

Doesn't say much for the quality, does it?
Out of the 453 pieces of stoneware I have sold I have had to get 6 replaced - occasionally things do happen, but a good PC consultant will do their level best to sort the problem out.

I am currently considering joining PC but unsure as I am a bit shy! I am also in two minds whether I can find enough people as I know *non-one* in my area at all having moved here 2 months ago! Will be interesting to follow this thread and get more feedback. All I've read on the net has been pretty positive though!

  • Do people do Pampered Chef just by holding parties? or are you able to do brochures through doors if you aren't comfortable doing parties? I'm very happy in the Company i'm with which has lots of different ways to retail the eco-friendly products so there is always at least one or two ways people feel comfortable and if they try one way and don't like it theres other ways to try. What happens if someone joins Pampered Chef and then found out they really didn't like doing parties?

  • i've done party plan before and its a nightmare trying to get parties or having them booked and you get cancellations. Yes you get some great parties but in my opinion, they are few and far between. Of course we went on evenings for sales etc and were told of the success stories that sold x amount of thousands, got company cars, trips all over the world etc , but these were consultants that recruited, recruited, recruited and were getting a percentage of all of their sales teams as well as their own parties.

If you can be bothered with it and can afford to lose the initial outlay if its not a success, then go for it. Its suitable for some and not for others. I found the time taken to prep parties, then after the party doing orders, delivering etc brought the hourly rate down to very little.
  • I love Pampered Chef things. I have loads of stuff. I've never bought the stoneware things as I prefer silicone, but the utensils are great.

Rethorical question......what was your earnings on your £37k? or your %age earnings?

I would/will never join a party plan where you have to pay to start...not when there are good PP businesess out there with free kit and everything you need to start off!

I did get 22% commission but now get 25% - only paid £110 to start up which I got back in two shows. I know it is not for everyone, but I love it and it has done wodners for my self esteem x
