Pampered Chef?

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with the pampered chef company? I am thinking of joining but after a bad experience with another company (not party plan) I am a bit wary!

Thanks :)

have been to couple of sales/demos. Girls pretty good at cooking and demonstrating products which cant be easy. But to be honest everything that is demonstrated is pretty expensive and not sure how well it would sell in this climate. Make up probably better bet as us girlies feel we need it as a treat rather than another kitchen gadget which we wont use.
Sorry to be negative, but just giving honest opinion

Jamie at home would be a rival, both parties are doing the rounds and are fine if people want to constantly buy products. Once I had been to 2 or 3 I had seen all the products so would not bother to go again as the prices are through the roof.
Items can average about £30-£60 each, there is not much under £20, lots nearer £100, so if groups can be found with that kind of spare cash it is possible.
Mums I speak to are likely to go for the glass of wine and nibbles and buy a spatula!
  • i enjoyed it watching cooking/sampling etc but then at the end the lady just gave out order forms, i knew i'd be expected to buy something and budgeted myself £20 (seemed resonable), for that i got a piping bag and a kids apple knife. I did fancy the cupcake tray but £40 is way too much for me!

I'm still in my first few months of Pampered Chef and have had good sales so far which equals good commission. However when you factor in all of the legwork you do beforehand and all the prep, it brings the hourly rate down a fair bit. I love Pampered Chef and will definitely keep doing it. It's true what they say - you'll get more out the more you put in. Best of luck :)
  • I've heard good things about Pampered Chef. My dad's partner does it a few time's a month and seems to do quite well out of it.

I love the stuff but it's really expensive. Plus i've had 2 dishes crack in the same place. First was replaced but then replacement cracked again.

Just contact them and they'll replace it again. The freephone no is 0800 9555888. I don't know another company with such excellent customer service and this makes it much easier to sell the products. They stand by everything they sell.

Doesn't say much for the quality, does it?
