Lol I think the pasties situation warrants a guffaw or too, and maybe a puddle for cameron to have a splash in.

Oh absolutely !! My mum has just told me about the pasties ! All pastie chat more than welcome here ladies , or if Camerons puddle is more preferable that too !!

So aside from all the political, pasty, fuel chat going on today, proving how incredibly intelligent we all are, I'm going out on a limb and doing my list now : -

Do Business Accounts - Slow going as managed to delete a while year somehow !! Oops !!

Pack DD2 Cross Country bag and Dance Kit - Done and put in car

Find another Lunch Box ( yesterdays was left at school ) Yuk ! Squashed one was found lurking under the stairs, thankfully there was no food left in it ! Heated up last nights leftover Spag bol for her and took it into school . She likes a proper meal rather than a sarnie !

Put Fuel in my car - Both Petrol Station in town closed and out of Fuel , drove to next closest town, put £35 in which took it to just under half a tank as there was a little bit left in it. Temp gauge continued to climb to over 80 ! Limped car home, unloaded horse riding gear etc out of my car and into Mr Pinots then left it at garage for them to take a look and asses what they think the problem is. Hopefully Mr Pinot can order the part and do the work once they tell us whats wrong ! Had to call for a cab to collect me £4.00 trip, before then driving all the way back to the next town to fill Mr Pinots Car !!

Put Fuel in Mr Pinots Car
    - Filled this one, it had quarter of a tank, filled with £75 of Fuel as he is drving to Birmingham on Monday and with my car in the garage this one will be used until then. Not quite sure what I will do next week when he takes his car though ! I will deal with that one later !

Take my car to garage for an assesment - They will look at it tomorrow if they have time, but if they need to do the work the earliest will be Wednesday before they can start .

Buy books for DD2 birthday - Got those and found a £15 WHSMith Voucher in purse that I didnt know I had, so minimal cost there. :j

Go to Aldi and purchase lots of lovely shower gel - I have Divine Gingerlilly, Uplifting Eucalyptus ( MBrowns is Warming Eucalyptus) and tranquil templetree ( MBrowns is blissful templetree) infact I bought two of these and will give one to my mum. Must confess they werent quite as cheap as I said, I think they were £1.75 each but I will only use them on special occasions ! :oOh and I treated myself to a bunch of Tulips £.189 and a bottle of British wine for a change for Mr Pinot and I to try this evening if he comes home !

    Wrap DD2 presents

Washing and drying and bed making - Done !

Go to Asda for Dads Cereal, he has run out and they are both feeling to poorly go out and buy some - Done, found in CO op instead but I think it was more expensive :(

    [STRIKE]Watch DD2 race[/STRIKE]
    - Mrs Pinot runs away to join the bad mummys club after arriving after her daughter had crossed the finish line !

Take DD2 to Dance classes - Yep, off she went after a shower and hair wash from her rather sweaty run !

Meet DD1 and make sure she is in her Dance Class and not still with the boyfriend ! - What a Good Girl, she was where she was supposed to be ! :D

Visit parents with Cereal - And a sneaky glass of wine with my Dad !!

Keep watchful eye out for Post - Its Here !!

A Smear Test Reminder - Just what I always wanted !

A Default Notice from Santander re the Loan currently owing £6225.00, threatening court or a DCA. They can take their pick really.

    A Birthday Card for DD2

And the best bit................ lovingly addressed to me, two metal brackets apparently to stop the new lights in my car wobbling about, that Mr Pinot has so thoughtfully decided to buy for me ! Talk about Spoilt !! :lovethoug

Collect my two and someone elses child from Dance Class and bring home - Arrived home at 8pm, yuk but Mr Pinot had beat me back and was cooking up a pasta dinner with salad ! :D

Find out which International Out of Area Witheld Number has begun to bombard me with calls again ! - I suspect MBNA for card number 2 or 3.

Call my Sister she goes on Holiday tomorrow and say Goodbye - Oh No I forgot and I think shes gone now ! I will text instead ! :o

Think what I am going to feed the Masses at the Weekend, oh and tonight !

Buy Birthday Cake for DD2 as I'm not sure my efforts will be to good !

Read DD1's school report, she has text to say its not very good :( - Nothing wrong with report at all, we were very pleased, but am a bit flumoxed by the English and MAths results so need to have a chat with her teacher re those. There has been no progress apaprently since she began year 9 and the targets they have set are the target levels she has already reached, so I am very confused ! Its a silly schoolreport anyway, jsut bar graphs showing her levels but no writing .

So there you have it , my day today ! Off to go and stand in a field and cheer along DD now , but at least its not cold, wet and windy for a change x

Good grief Mrs P come up for air honey , you deserve it :T

Think your day has put me too shame but I will bore you with that in my diary.

Sorry the car is being naughty again  I know my Old car (which I have to say I really miss, it went to car heaven 2 years ago) had a problem with temp etc a few years ago and decided to break down on me in a dark country lane just on the way back from Boxing day in London. Needless to say was not a happy bunny.

Loved your DD commment about petrol proce going up 43% :rotfl:

Mind you a lot of our local garages are running out mainly due to the panic buying.

I had a thought (yes I know steady now they dont happen often) about the pastie debate. If vat is to be charged when it is hot, how will the govt know??? Or what if Gr**** etc just put microwaves at the end of their counters and customers pushed the button:D Oh dear think you have me on a roll.

Hope you find some time to relax tonight, you deserve it

    take care catch up later

Pinot, i admire your tenacity at admin. I tried to go paperless this weekend by scanning all my documents this weekend and shredding them. Away I went scanning and shredding only to discover I was using the automatic document feeder with the paper the wrong side face up and I scanned and shred about 1000 documents only to discover it was all blank pages scanned. hee hee

  • Blimey Pinot, I'm exhausted just reading your list. So, when is DD2's birthday? I have DS2's birthday on Monday (2nd). Presents already purchased, just need to wrap and buy a card. I'll probably make him the infamous microwave chocolate cake as he says it's the best one I make! :p

News about the petrol strikes etc. is just starting to filter through over here... scary stuff. I remember the last one, Mr F and I were on holiday in Cornwall and daren't drive too far in case we ran out of fuel. :( Fortunately we were staying in one of those Scandinavian style lodges on a working farm, that had it own pub, serving the most delicious food and drink. :D
