    Woohoo well done you.

As I've read your diary it seems to me that things start to get a bit panicky with work or money and then you have a sudden influx and all things get set right IYKWIM.

Love that you rigged up booby traps around the girls tent, I remember camping with Brownies and Guides and hated it. Still do, so much so that I don't even know what our 12 man tent looks like lol.

Today is the only day in a long time that I wish I had a credit card.

Not to buy things for me but for the girls.

An email popped into my inbox yesterday from G4lly H4cks with a huuuuge sale. the girls love their clothes, they are great quality but so expensive. I have only ever bought odd bits for them in sale and refuse to pay full price for anything. I have popped into the shopping basket bits and bobs they would both like and could do with plus one item for me, a body spray I really like which is reduced to £4 .

It has come to £322 :eek::eek: Thats because there are two of everything. Two hoodies, two pairs of joggers, two pairs of flip flops etc etc .

I suppose I had best remove all of the items and pretend I never saw the email or try and be ruthless and choose one thing each :(:(

These things are sent to try us I suppose ! xx

I know exactly what you mean. It's much easier going without yourself but the kids are different. If you really think about though, they aren't going without. They still have everything they need xx

They do and they dont go without at all . Well DD1 did on her birthday this year but we have made up for it since. They could both do with new jogging jackets, particularly DD2 as hers are all far too small for her now. I know I can get them cheaper elsewhere but they don't wash up nicely and aren't as warm. By the time I have decided what to do, they will have sold out, the sale will be over and then I wont have a dilemma !! :rotfl:

eBay? With companies that are really good quality, it's a good way of getting the look without paying the prices. I buy Joules stuff on there for £5 or less instead of £40-£60. My technique, when I decide I need to add to my wardrobe, is to do an eBay search for what I want, filter it so that it shows only Auction listings and only listings with a price of £5 or lower, put anything interesting on my watch list and then set up an email alert so eBay lets me know when anything meeting the same criteria is listed. I've got some real bargains that way, including the Halo & Co tiara I wore at my wedding - never thought I'd be able to afford one and I nabbed it for £30 instead of the £350 it would have cost new.

Just when we think we are pulling ourselves out of the mire we are hit with a car repair bill for Mr PGs car ( still languishing in the garage ) off approx £1500 :eek:

I wanted to surprise them so I was thinking about choosing one thing each but we have now been hit with a ridiculous bill to try and get Mr PGs car back on the road so I don't think anyone is going to be getting anything. Happy Days !
