I missed you cocktail party
It sounds like you all had fun.
Also spotted you mentioned the light box yesterday. We have a large SAD light box
This one http://www.sad.uk.com/diamond-5-sad-lightbox---fastest-treatment-99-p.asp
I can't remember where we bought it but I remember we didn't pay VAT as Mr Pooh was diagnosed with SAD.
I found our invoice. We hired a light box to see how it went then bought after one month. http://www.sad-lighthire.co.uk/business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Thankyou Pooh thats really helpful.
You missed the party but I think I dropped a cocktail off to you although my internet was playing up like mad last light. I blame the snow !
I am today ebaying like crazy today , have dug out loads of DD2's riding bits that no longer fit her. Everythign needs replacing, boots, body protector, hat etc etc ,infact she needs a whole new wardrobe of clothes as she has grown so much. Hopefully some of her old riding bits will sell and I can put them towardsthe cost of the new its she needs. She is currently up at the stables looking after a friends horse, she is one crazy child being out in this weather thats for sure.
We havent actually got too much snow much to the girls disappointment, but DD2 managed to get outside and take a few nighttime snowy shots last night which we apparently hav to have a viewing of later.
Mr PG is painting again, trying to get things done jsut incase our news comes of next week, then he wont be around much so its all sytems go just incase.
We are goign to friends for drinks this evening for her birthday which shoudl ne lovely. One of the bonuses of work being slow is that we have actually managed to catch up with a few friends recently some of which we havent seen for a couple of years due to work and money pressures, so in a roundabout way the lack of work has been nice to get some sense of normality back into our life, but as you it has had its downsides with the worry. But Im not dwelling today, I am smiling
Granny, Northern L, I will update the club list later for you ! xx
Hope you are all well, not too many sore heads from last nights party and you are all having a lovely weekend.
I will try and do some catching up on your diaries later on xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

That was a rowdy party last night. There were 54 new posts on your diary yesterday.
Thanks for popping into my diary with a drink. I couldn't drink it last night as I had to drive to the airport to pick up DD's boyfriend. The roads weren't wonderful with the snow on the first 20 miles of the main road.

Hey!!!! I blooming missed what sounded like a GREAT party...balls. Can we book another for next week??
Hope things are picking up. It sounds pretty stressful and I know the uncertainty is grim. Have just caught up on oh about 20 pages of diary:D...do carry on posting even when times are hard. We are all here to offer support.
Was hoping that Piq had got the job..but seems not. Double balls. Sometimes life is just not fair at all.
Hope you are enjoying the snow. More expected for us tomorrow and no sign of the snow or ice disappearing here at all. But schools open again! Girls first day back and they are quite looking forward to it. We arrived back at Heathrow in flip flops on Saturday. The staff thought we were mad!!:rotfl:

Afternoon all, sick of the snow, really really sick of it. Walked the 2km to work this morning. Not looking forward to the walk home. Had Friday off for my birthday and it started snowing at 11am and didn't stop until Saturday morning, it's all still here and been snowing more today on top of the slush.

I was feeling very PG today:
laundry
called the council
booked the drain blockage removal
called british gas to fix kitchen tap
went to garden center for snow shovel and grit
shoveled my whole terrace of houses and gritted
got groceries
went to work and finish in 4 hours
whoot.

:j:j We got the JOb, well the contract ! :j:j
It startes today. Mr PG is currently suited and booted and in a meeting witht he client. I , meanwhile have the fun job of all th paperwork and drawings. Yuk . It will go through until the end of March, so we can breath, things will be tight still as we have had two very lean months with not enough coming in, but its all good, I can deal with that ! It will be pretty stressful its a huge job, a bit daunting in some areas, but it is in London meaning Mr PG wont be travelling away from home, he will be home every night which is a rarity. There are lots of things going on with the girls evneings and weekends in the next few months, it will mean for once he can be there, most of the time. Its Monday to Friday, another rarity although he may need to do alot of work from home at the weekends and we also want to keep our regular clients happy , so if they need us we can take odd days work at the weekend, that will also make up the shortfall for December and January hopefully. So all in all all its good.
After March, the clients Mr PG met with last weekend are hoping they may need us and we have a few days worked booked for April and May . June fingers crossed is another contract and July the same which takes us through to August hopefully, so as long as things continue to filter in we should be fine, the bills will be paid and the National Debt should continue to reduce all be it slowly.:T
NL , thats a great list. I love lists !! It makes me feel very productive !
Mrs B, lovely to see you and Fallen, belated Happy Birthday to you . Sorry you are fed up with the snow, its not been so bad here so Im not fed up yet. We have a half built igloo in the back garden which we are determined to finish although the sun has decided to shine today and for once I would rather it hadn't, as the igloo will melt !
Right Im off again, still not made it to the diaries since last week, sorry.
Hope you are all ok. xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
