  • How are you doing today, you sounded pretty fed up yesterday and I ddidnt get a chance to answer you. Sorry x :(

Oooh that Gingery Blonde look, Im sure that was mentioned way back in my diary after many attempts using the sun In back in the Day !

At least mine isnt the only awful driving licence photo in the whole world. :rotfl:

I'm feeling better today thanks :D. OH is off to work for a welfare meeting at 11am. I think I've found a dress for my company do so have ordered and it will hopefully fit (discovered the dress I'd bought from a friend no longer goes over my b00bs as they've apparently grown since I went back on the pill, really not needed I was already a 34D!)

I need to eat better tonight, had a pizza last night and felt awful all evening, ended up in bed at half 8 watching old Red Dwarf on DVD. so tonight I want to eat better and maybe go for a jog :T Now I've told you lot I'll have to :rotfl:

Our company have a function every year, it makes me laugh that we're still very old fashioned in some ways but it's nice for everyone from our site to be given the chance to go out and have a nice meal and a party. Will post a photo when they send them out as they normally have photographers there.

My problem in the b00bs front is that the size 12s make me look bigger but the 10s won't go over the b00bs so I need a dress with a bit of give, the one I've gone for has the zip at the back instead of under the arm pit so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm trying to be good and have no alcohol on a school night so no more wine until Friday for me. I'm off to see Kelly Clarkson in Manchester next friend with my best friend and the OH so that will be fun, it's the night before the company function so two late nights in a row but it'll be ok :j

Good luck taking the kitty to the vet, I remember when we cat sat for three years (uncle was in the army and it was before pet passports, he had to move to Germany) and the "ginger whinger" hated the vets so much she ran up my Mam's arm and sat on the back of her head claws in. The vet and I just stood and laughed.

  • Wow you dirty stop out, two late nights in a row !!

I'm just jealous really ! :D Kelly Clarkson will be great I bet, I love concerts, actually I love music, anything really I dont care who or what it is ! We are off to see Ed Sheeran in a couple of weeks, it was DD1's birthday present back in March, so she has had a long wait. Poor Child has to take mum and dad though rather than her friends as we dont want to miss out ! DD2 made her a little Lego House, then wrote Ed Sheeran tickets on a piece of paper then cut all of the letters up and popped them inside the house. She then had to piece together the letters to see what her pressie was ! We thought the Lego House might have been a dead giveaway, but clearly not ! She can be a bit slow on the uptake sometimes bless her !!! :rotfl:

Space Cat and I are back from the vets ! drainage tubes are out and he has had a clean up, but he has to wear his Space Hat for another 10 days !! He isnt allowed out for another 10 days ! Holy Moly, Im not sure I can cope with spoon feeding a cat for that long and only using the front door of the house then walking all the way round to the back garden if we need to go outside , as each time I try and escape out of the backdoor he tries to make a bolt for it ! He is frightened of the front door, so thats a safe choice ! Silly Cat !

He isnt a clean cat though, he thinks its ok to go to the toilet on the beds, or on towels or as you know school bags, he has also been known to leave a present for Mr Pinot in his boots before now . I will have to remember to keep all upstairs doors permanently shut for another 10 days ! The girls cant hear me when I call them and the rooms are all cold as the heat isnt circulating ! I think I will go stir crazy by the time he has recovered ! :p

:eek: Oh No, Space Cat has escaped......out of the Front Door . The same Front Door he has been terrified of all his life !

Its all my fault, DD2 rang me to tell me that on her way to the bus she had spotted the Bin men and it was Cardboard recycling, she knows I always forget to put the recycling out. In my rush I ran out of the front door leaving it wide open to gather up the cardboard and leave outside for the Bin Men. I then got distracted by the Bunny Rabbit who needed feeding and his water topping up.

When I went back in the house, the Space Cat was gone.

As he had'nt been to the toilet in his litter tray last night, instead opting to wee in his bed instead, I didnt trust him this morning not to leave us a present somewhere, so I had shut every single door upstairs and downstairs whilst he was sleeping in the utility room. Therefore he only had the run of the Utility, kitchen , hall stairs and landing. Not leaving him many places to hide really. . He definitely isnt in the house !

He has been MIA for an hour and a half. I need to leave in half an hour and I have meetings all day. We dont have a cat flap, and if we did I doubt Space Cat and his cone would fit through it. He usually knocks on the back door when he wants to come in . I really hope he comes home before the girls get back from school, or my life wont be worth living ! :o

  • Oh dear good luck finding him!

OHs meeting went well, He's going to do standard 8 hour shifts starting Tuesday, fingers crossed he can deal with it. Just hoping they don't want him in work on Saturday the 12th or I'll be having an early drive back from Tadcaster (did it before one time had to drive from Huddersfield at 4am because I had jury service at 9am in Durham).

Dress has arrived so I'll try that on tonight, fingers crossed the 10 fits and I don't need to change it. Currently getting annoyed at equipment at work not doing what it should and trying to stop myself buying a new small camera. My current large one is about 4 years old and my small one about 7 and really not very good. My large one is too big for hand bags and I can't get it into gigs.

:eek: The Cat returned late last night, minus his cone / collar, looking rather smug and pleased with himself . We checked the wound, all looked fine and decided to take him to the vets this morning to have him checked over and get him another Cone.

Having just returned from the Vets it appears that he decided to pull his stitches out overnight and now has an open wound. The resulting cost an additional £150 on top of the current bill ! The cheaper option was to not sedate him and to try and staple the wound on his tummy. I couldnt do that to him. I will use the last dregs of the Emergency Fund to pay for this . :(

Next job on todays list, sorting out the long overdue Pet insurance. Serves me right I suppose :(

Any recommendations much apprecciated. PetPlan I have heard is the best but most expensive.

The Bear refused to be a prisoner too, escaping on his second day with me!

PetPlan are good at paying out, the Captain is insured with them. They do a for life cover for cats I think, but that's expensive. They're doing a 10% offer on the first years insurance through Quidco. But Morethan are offering £60 cashback and 25% discount!

  • Aww no poor naughty kitty. Another cone of shame for you.

I did a dance of joy last night as the dress fit! I'll see if I can link a picture of it.

Now I just need to go through my things and sort out the bits and bobs to go with it. Need to get the boy's suit cleaned and maybe a new tie for him.

Oh and I finally booked a hair cut for tomorrow afternoon. I haven't had it cut since December! very MSE but it was a bob back then, it's grown slightly haha.
