You could try getting his contact details via this link:

    http://search.ebay.co.uk/ws/search/AdvSearch?sofocus=bs&sacat=-1&catref=C5&fbd=1&sspagename=h:h:advsearch:Uk&from=R6&nojspr=y&fswc=1&fss=0&saslop=1&fls=4&floc=1&sargn=-1&saslc=0&salic=3&saatc=3&sadis=200&fpos=NR32%202AD&sacur=0&sacqyop=ge&ga10244=10425&saslt=2&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saaff=afdefault&fsop=1&fsoo=1&fcl=3&frpp=50&sofindtype=9&pfid=

Give him a quick ring. As soon as you ask for his telephone details it will send him an email informing him that you have asked for the details. Sometimes this email on it's own is enough to get results. For them the prospect of dealing with an irate ebayer in person instead of through the safety shield of a computer is too much.

His payment instructions are cheques and PO's only.....or overseas payment in CASH Only...
If he's putting that he accepts cash he is breaking ebay rules and if he has any other auctions running at the mo you can report him.

Me too I was inadvertedly sending emails to usetheyellowbutton for about a month.

Few people in my experience actually keep their email private so youd be forgive to replying to usetheyellow button by accident.

One of my top ebay tips is if you want to know something about an item.. but dont want others knowing, ie, to prevent the seller click "post this answer on listing".... you email an initial pointless fake question, like do you accept cheques or something, then outisde ebay in your hotmail or yahoo email system you then reply via their email, not "respond" with the real question. This way your corresponding via your email provider, not ebay, and they dont have the option to present that answer on ebay.

Best example I can give, without revealing what i sell haha, I buy a lot of what I sell by the KG, but some pictures of the items may make the items for sale look like a small lot. Getting the seller to weigh the items however reveals exactly how much is there and thus its value.

A picture may look like 5kgs worth.. but my turn out to be 30kg!! You can imagine how signifcantly that effects your bidding knowing that info.

In my experience the best deals are always to be had on items that are poorly represented in the pictures.

An item with 12 detailed pics is always going to extract the maximum sale... whereas one pic thats not too clear deters other bidders and gives the opportunity for a bargain.

    1) Does the listing read paypal only?

    2) Did you reply via hotmail or yahoo etc, clicking "reply" rather than "respond".

    3) Did you click the "request payment details" link thing or just click "contact seller"

    4) how soon is the gig?

1, The seller accepts Personal cheque, Postal Order or Banker's Draft.
2, Ive been going through the ask a seller a question link.
3,Yes i requested the sellers payment details.
4,The gig is on the 28th of febuary.
Why on earth would you want to pay by cheque? Leaves you open to all sorts of scams.

If possible pull his contact details and phone him and get it sorted.

Ive always paid by chq and never had any problems.
Whats his rating like? check his other sellers items, ie are the tickets relisted?

Yes the tickets have been relisted, In regards to his feedback it was good when i checked it before buying but suddenly over the last few days he has had 4 negative feedback and 3 neutral.
Kriss give the OP a chance to reply why dont you.

Looked at listing and he only accepts personal cheque, postal order or bankers draft. And seems some others have had the same problem.

As for for yahoo or hotmail emails, thats the sellers problem kriss. If anyone sells on ebay, they should constanly make sure there email accounts are ok. No excuse.

This sellers has a serious attitude problem.

Yes you can report him for abusive feedback.
